On the southeast coast of Kos island, 7km from the Marine and Kos town and 32km from Kos International airport (KGS), the hotel is located on Agios Fokas beach, renowned for its crystal clear waters. The Therma hot springs at 3,5km, is an attraction to visit and enjoy the curing effects.
Dimitra Beach Hotel & Suites has renovated all its public areas and rooms 2015-2019 to now be a cozy and modern hotel. In approximately 70.000 m2 of land, covered with marvelous gardens, the Resort consists of the main building, the annex building that features the Club Suites and 5 more blocks of bungalows near the private beach.
3 restaurants, 4 bars & lounges (2 adults only lounges), 3 adults' pools and 3 separate kids' pools, sports activities during the day and evening entertainment to enjoy. Amazing hotel
Stayed for 6 nights and loved it! The hotel & rooms were spotless, the room was lovely with an amazing view! The hotel felt quieter than others I’ve stayed in as the pools and restaurants were spread out so it never felt too crowded! It had a relaxed vibe. The food was amazing, lots of fresh salads & fruit with loads of variety! Food was served throughout the day so the restaurants and bars were never too busy! It was all presented well. The main restaurant has a lovely view of the sea. All the staff were so friendly and helpful! Were always greeted and acknowledged around the hotel. The staff by the pool with the swim up bar were friendly, came to the sun beds to take drink orders and kept the area clean and tidy. There’s a bus stop outside the hotel so easy to get to the town, there’s bus times and options for transfers in reception Can’t recommend this hotel and will defiantly be returning!
A memorable vacation and unforgettable stay at Dimitra Beach Hotel
Just back from a week of vacation Dimitra Beach Resort and already missing it!😊🥰 Beautifully designed hotel, very good foods/drinks but the people made this trip truly special.
Mark at reception looked after us from start to finish, with great help from Madison, Eyen.
Loved having a choice of restaurants, and a big shout out to Chef Michael and Dexter at the Greek Restaurant for the amazing foods. Cocktails by Don, Mark and Japet were fantastic, and the waitresses, Joy, Carllene, Den and the rest of the Filipino team, were always smiling, helpful and full of good energy.
The supervisor, Colina, with her energetic and joyful way of greeting people and of course, the rest of the Filipino staffs in the Main Restaurant and Greek Restaurant. The other supervisor, Iryna is also very nice and very attentive to guests.
How can I forget the entertainment every night! 🥰🥰🥰 Very good idea to have this. I loved and enjoyed a lot the performance of the singers from South Africa and The Teachers.
Unfortunately there are some small downside: the pool area often got quite crowded, and unfortunately some guests reserve sunbeds early in the morning with towels without actually using them. It would be great if the resort could be a bit stricter about this, so all guests have a fair chance at a spot.
Also we noticed sometimes the friction between some workers most especially towarda Filipino. We really hope this changes over time, because these employees deserve just as much respect and appreciation as they give.
In general it was a very nice and relaxing vacation. That natural Filipino warmth and friendliness really made this stay unforgettable. Thank you all, we'll be back!😊👌🏼 Highly recommended! 💯

Beautiful small-scale accommodation with friendly staff, and thanks to Adina who always ensured a good spot on the terrace with quick service!
Great Stay
We absolutely loved in here and would defiantly return, we have already told friends and family they would love the Experience at the Dimitra Beach Hotel.
The staff were amazing, so attentive and polite throuhout the entire stay, always looking to help and assist.
The pool bars were excellent, each server making quality coctails one after the other, nothing was to much trouble.
Food was exceptional, Greek cuisine was stunning, and best of all not a chicken nugget in site.
The Hotel was spotless, with people cleaning all throughout the day, rooms were great, i couldn't fault this Hotel and its staff.
Amazing stay at Dimitra!
We have just returned from an amazing holiday at Dimitra Beach. We received a very warm welcome after a late flight from George at reception. We were handed freshly made baguettes and offered a drink before being shown to our room.
Our room (two bedrooms) was spacious and clean. Our view was absolutely stunning and we enjoyed being close to one of the pools.
The food throughout our stay was excellent. We ate in the Italian restaurant once which we all enjoyed. The buffet had plenty of choice and we didn’t find anything too repetitive. Everything was cooked well. Our favourite was the Greek restaurant where we had lunch everyday, everything was so fresh.
The cocktail menu had a lot of good choice (all included) and cocktails are all freshly made. We particularly enjoyed the Veranda main bar and found the two barmen who were on every night we were there worked so hard and would make anything we asked for which was always delicious. They also make an amazing iced latte! Adina, one of the waitresses, was so welcoming towards us and we found her very pleasant.
We enjoyed the entertainment every evening and found it better than entertainment we have seen in other hotels. We particularly enjoyed the Bruno Mars tribute and the DJ, great atmosphere!
The highlight of our stay was Giorgos who I believe is the Service Manager. He was always there, always making sure his guests were happy and would always go above and beyond. He was so much fun and my children loved high fiving him and chatting to him throughout the day. My husband and I both said we’ve never seen someone so good at their job and he really deserves a lot of credit.
The only drawback for us was the lack of sunbeds. It’s not necessarily a fault of the hotel but most sunbeds were reserved very early on in the day and it could be challenging to find a sunbed after 8.30am.
Our favourite part of the hotel was the view, it’s stunning no matter where you are in the hotel and it’s something we are already missing!
The hotel is peaceful, relaxing and friendly. It’s not a hotel with a huge amount going on (there are some daily activities) but if you want somewhere to relax, with an amazing view and probably the best service we’ve ever received at a hotel then you won’t be disappointed!
