We stayed at this hotel 3 years ago it was lovely great food ect we saved up at return this September room was clean no problem but tge food was terrible we had half broad food was cold or warm no choice moldy bread one morning ran out off juices no fish only pasta and sauce for vegetarian eggs in morning wete cold and rubbery one not my husband was sick as chicken wasn't good we had back for 27 but cancelled it staff were polite everlyn restaurant manager wasn't interested when we said about food meat was hard and potatoes covered in oil I wouldn't recommend this hotel was glad to get home very disappointed
Location was a short drive away from main hustle of Skala but not a problem as hotel offered a shuttle bus or we had a hire car which has been the only way to see all of kefalonia. The reception we received late at night was warm and welcoming and we were shown to our room which was tired, but clean and comfortable. The rooms however were not replenished with tea or coffee and our mugs and glasses were never changed! Bedding was made but not changed at all and we came back to find the ‘maid’ using my own phone charger! Bit cheeky! Atmosphere was dead! The bar in the hotel was never once open and the one by the pool only knew bob Marley!
The food! This was horrendous! Reheated every night but by the time we could eat it was like warm at best if not cold! Ended up having to eat out which cost a lot more than we had planned with paying for half board. The selection was limited and repetitive and not at all as advertised on pictures.
Hotel staff polite and kind, however the actual hotel is dated but clean. The food and the options of food were extremely poor. I know it’s end of season but they should have the same offer all year round. The rooms were clean, but bedding was never changed in our week stay. Would I stay here again? No
Lovely place, lovely people but a little far out of town.
The pool is fab and the hotel supply towels to use there.
The little beaches opposite the hotel are only accessible to the very finest. Rock climbing and balance beam skills needed.
Very good hotel, friendly staff and excellent food.
