- Costa Azzurra Hotel

Located in the center of Skala Village on the pedestrian road, this unique complex offers a truly vibrant experience!
The rooms of the property are modern, equipped with A/C, TV & kitchenette. Local shops, restaurants, bakeries & all amenities one seeks are only a few meters away!
Skala's famous golden sandy beach is just 100 meters away from Costa Azzurra.
This complex is ideal for those who wish to have everything in close proximity!
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
This is not an hotel! It's a few rooms over a shop! The photo of said Hotel is misleading as it's a picture of a lovely building across the street. We knew there wasn't a pool, so that wasn't a problem. We thought it was going to be just a small hotel. Very disappointed. It's 4 star rated on the website. Absolutely not!. No bar area, rooms small, exposed pipes. Towels & bedding only changed once in our 7 day stay. Reception was tiny & rarely anyone on it. No lift! Struggled to lift cases. In all it was like going back to our younger days, when you got the cheapest room just to crash after a night partying. But unfortunately it wasn't cheap! Booked through TUI, don't think they have ever visited said hotel. Complained about the misleading photo & information.
Here at the moment, Costa azzura is a great little hotel on the main street leading to the beach, Arrived at 10pm and no problem getting in, good sized room, small but adequate bathroom Food at The Old Village restaurant very good and well priced. Reception not always manned but they know when you are arriving and we're quick to sort a blocked shower drain. Weather just right 29c would definitely comeback .
Right on pedestrian street of skala.the location couldn’t be any better. With more than enough restaurants, tavernas, cafes and bars to choose from to the mini markets and ice cream and bakery’s.
The hotel itself has a lovely well cared for entrance with seating and beautiful flowers.
Super fresh and clean. No lift here so NOT suitable for those who cannot walk up possibly 4 flights of steps.
We stayed in room 201 which was on the top floor. Super clean , modern and fresh. It ticked all our boxes as we use our rooms as a base. Our balcony was on the side of the building so not the best view but we didn’t mind.
We were b&b but there was a little kitchenette with sink and a full size fridge , cuttelrey glasses and plates. A coffee machine and kettle. Everything we needed. Lovely touch we really liked was the robes and slippers in the room and pegs for the aider put on the balcony.
Bathroom was clean and fresh.. shower cubicle was pretty small and the shower is a handheld shower , no bracket to attach hose to wall so difficult to use especially whilst washing your hair. Thank goodness for the husband standing on top of the toilet holding the shower head haha Only suggestions I would make is to add a bracket to the shower and maybe a shelf underneath the sink for storage. We had to keep most of our bits on the bathroom floor.
Naya was such a pleasure to see every morning with her friendly smile and attitude. Always making sure we were ok, had enough of everything and making sure we were enjoying our holiday. She gave us so many hints and tips regarding the area and island as a whole. She’s circled lots of lovely places on th map for us to visit when we hired a car.
No Pool here but a 2 minutes walk down the road was the la vista hotel where guests can use the pool. And what a lovely pool it was and open untill 7.30pm. It’s suggested that you spend a minimum of €10 for non residence, pretty easily done with 2 beers.
Breakfast- was served next door in the brotherhood restaurant. To the right of the entrance of Costa azzura. Staff here were lovely and the breakfast was ample. Set menu consisted of the following. Tea , coffee or juice. Greek yogurt with apple and banana. 2x fried eggs 2x bacon Ham Cheese and a slice of beef tomato Toast and cake with butter and jam.
It would be nice if you could choose a tea/coffee AND a juice not just one. We did add sausage and omelette to our breakfast one morning for a little change up and was happy to pay.
I would like to suggest coat hooks to go on the back of the main door.

The location is very convenient. Although it is above a restaurant and on the Main Street it is quiet at night. The bed is very comfortable and the room is extremely clean. Basic but had every we need for our stay. The lady Nela receptionist is so helpful and friendly and the cleaner always says hello. We stayed here after a cock up where our original studios were overbooked and lucky for us there was room here for our stay. A blessing in disguise as the original place was not as nice as here. Thank you
