This fantastic beach resort is nestled on a hill and provides its guests with amazing panoramic sea views. Located on the east coast of Kefalonia, the hotel is secluded form the main vibrant areas of Skala town, 3km from the premises. A number of local bars and restaurants are reachable within walking distance. Argostoli, is approximately 37 km away.

June 10 day stay.
Wanted a sea view with Queen bed and got lucky as we were shown to a Sea View suite with a jacuzzi. Clean, comfortable, relatively quiet as well away from main hotel which tends to have music every night. I imagine it can get a little noisy in the hotel building between 9 and 11. From bottom of hill it is a stiff walk up to the hotel for breakfast and dinner but if you have a car no problem or reception will send a buggy. George and his team in the restaurant were most attentive. Choice of food for breakfast and dinner buffet was excellent with differently themed nights. The food in a la carte restaurant upstairs is included in a half board stay and worth it at least once. Though limited but good quality. Nikita the Hospitality Manager was always doing his rounds and available for a chat. The bar, terrace and reception area has plenty of seating and is where most people congregate in evenings. We hired a car from airport so were not restricted to hotel in evenings. A shuttle to Skala is available I believe. Skala is a small pretty village with a few good eateries Beach there is mostly sandy.
Great holiday
We had a wonderful holiday at Apostolata Hotel in Kefalonia. The food was excellent throughout our stay, and the hotel’s location is fantastic with beautiful views. A special mention goes to Lee from the entertainment team, who was amazing and made our holiday even more enjoyable with her energy and friendliness. Kefalonia itself is absolutely beautiful, and we can’t wait to visit again. Highly recommended!
Best entertainment in whole world
We had a fantastic holiday at Apostolata Island Resort & Spa in Kefalonia in July 2026! A special mention goes to the entertainment team, especially Lee – without a doubt the best entertainer!
Lee was full of energy, always smiling, and made every activity fun and enjoyable. The daytime games, fitness activities, and evening entertainment were all brilliantly organised. She had an amazing ability to get everyone involved, no matter their age.
Thank you, Lee, for making our holiday so special and unforgettable. Your enthusiasm and positive attitude created such a wonderful atmosphere every single day. We hope to see you again in the future!

Where do I start ❤️ omg the service is amazing..the minute you are greeted to the day you leave (I still have a day left but you get my drift ) Honestly the best service ..the best ambience and every single person working at the resort are amazing ..to the bar staff ..the cleaners ..the reception..the restaurant…I am absolutely coming back and hopefully this year ❤️ this makes me want to move to Kefalonia..the people are so amazing 10/10
