The hotel is situated in the southwest side of Kefalonia Island and specifically in the tranquil surroundings of the Lassi coastline just 2km from Argostoli, the capital city of Kefalonia. Set just above a small sandy beach. The hotel offers spectacular view to the bay of Lixouri. The crystal clear waters make the beach ideal for swimming but also exploring the seabed. A large swimming pool with section for children, a tennis court, a ping-pong table or nights with live Greek music are only some of the kinds of entertainment offered by the hotel.

Hotel is a credit to all staff
Lovely Hotel ,location is hard work for the elderly walking up the hill. Room really nice just 2 points ,shower cubicle would be better for the older person.Balcony small and close to your next door neighbour i know this can'not change due to the age of the hotel. Breakfast is good always find something. Hotel is the cleanest i have been to in the greek islands. Maids brilliant . Lady on early morning in reception shift, was excellent . Maria in bar area was also lovely and always happy smiling. Beach and sea great. Lady who sorts the sunbeds on the beach great character. Overall service first class.

Excellent hotel and location
Lovely hotel with a perfect location for the beach and local bars and restaurants. Had seaview room which is lovely however is very hot on the balcony on an afternoon. Had bed and breakfast = plenty of options for breakfast hot and cold. Never had a problem getting a sunbed whatever time of day we tried. Pool bar serving plenty of drinks and sandwiches / crisps. Staff very helpful = will return

Brilliant Hotel
This hotel is fab! Rooms are a good size and are kept clean. It has a pool overlooking the bay, along with a gorgeous beach - 10 euros for 2 loungers and brolly - we spent every day on the beach which was amazing - clear turquoise sea and plenty of fish - they did nip a little at times. Breakfast was really good. Location was great with plenty of bars and restaurants within a short walk albeit up a steep hill. Staff were lovely in the hotel. The views from the hotel are amazing. Would definitely return - you won’t be disappointed- we had no complaints and had a brilliant holiday 🎉
A Fantastic Stay in the Perfect Location
We stayed at the Mediterranee Hotel for 10 nights and honestly couldn't have asked for a better holiday. The location is absolutely perfect, right on a beautiful beach with stunning clear water, making it so easy to spend the day relaxing by the sea. The pool area was also lovely, and we never had any trouble finding sunbeds for the two of us.
Our room was clean, comfortable and well looked after throughout our stay, with towels replaced regularly by the housekeeping team. The food was another highlight – there was a great variety at both breakfast and dinner, and everything we tried was fresh and really tasty.
The hotel is in a fantastic location, with plenty of lovely restaurants and a supermarket all within a short 10-minute walk. Every member of staff we met was friendly and helpful, but a special mention has to go to the bar staff, who were so welcoming and always greeted us with a smile. They really helped make our stay feel extra special.
We had such a fantastic time and wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Mediterranee Hotel to anyone visiting Kefalonia. We would absolutely love to come back one day!
