The boutique hotel Alley Boutique Hotel & Spa enjoys a central location in the heart of Argostoli. It offers 29 elegant rooms and suites with balcony overlooking the port. The famous beach of Makris Gialos is 8 km away. The rooms are decorated in light colours and tasteful furnishings. Each has a marble bathroom, and in-room amenities include an LCD TV and free Wi-Fi. The capital of Kefalonia offers a wide array of chic restaurants and shops. The beaches of Lassi, Platis Gialos and Gradakia are nearby. The Archaeological Museum of Argostoli is a few blocks from the hotel.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
This hotel and its staff are absolute gems. We have returned on 3 September from having 10 days there.
The room is beautifully designed and a really comfortable base for a holiday in Argostoli. The staff are super helpful.
I can’t think of any negatives at all. The hotel is a stones throw from the sea and ideally situated. We will definitely stay again.
We stayed in this lovely little hotel for 2 nights but wished it had been more. It was conveniently situated and was clean, modern, and welcoming. We had a lovely room and a roomy bathroom. Georgia was an absolute star advising and helping us: nothing wa too much trouble. I highly recommend this hotel.
We stayed here for a week in September, the location is very good in the heart of the city. The room we had was OK, the bed was comfortable, our view was of a brick wall. The service overall was poor, no help with luggage we had to carry 2 big suitcases up the stairs, it was on the 1st floor, however no assistance was offered, was told they had no lift to the 1st floor. If you are unable to walk up stairs with heavy suitcases be aware.
The room had "trendy" furniture however not much else, small room, we booked via a tour operator and they advertise the room as a deluxe it is definitely not a deluxe it is a standard room.we were in room 1, avoid this room if you can. No bar or restaurant at all, reception staff were OK, however a lot of the time no-one was at the front desk. We asked for a ln iron and ironing board we were told by reception they only have one full ironing board and one small one and 2 irons, this is a basic expected in a hotel rated as a 4 star. We had to wait for a while approx 40 mins before we got one, which meant we could not go out to eat until we had ironed. Breakfast was average, one morning we were going on a tour and asked for breakfast around 7am before they opened, this was fine to have, they offer buffet breakfast cold food, meats cheeses ,breads, etc. The eggs are made before hand around 7am therefore if you having breakfast an hour later or up to 10am the eggs are cold and not nice to eat. I asked the manager of the hotel if I could have an omelette and it was accommodated the mornings I requested which was appreciated. They have a small gym. We rates the hotel 3 out of 5 as it is not a 4 star in our view. Overall the hotel was clean and the location is great.
Lovely hotel. Great location. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Will definately use again.
We had booked a 4 night stay for my husband's birthday. Unfortunately on our arrival it became apparent that there was an issue with our booking - our online travel agent had booked the correct dates BUT FOR THE WRONG YEAR 🥶 they had booked us for 2025. Lillia & Adele on Reception were amazing - they assisted in trying to contact our travel agent & they also managed to secure us a room for 3 nights out of the 4 - we were very lucky. Σας ευχαριστώ πολύ για τη βοήθειά σας κορίτσια 🩷 The hotel is central, with the main square at the top of the road (turn left as you exit the hotel) Plenty of bars & tavernas around We had a double room, very spacious, lovely bathroom. Breakfast was buffet style - variety of hot & cold foods available. Would definitely stay again 🩷
