This beach resort is situated on the west coast of the magnificent Kassandra peninsula, the first of the three beach-fringed peninsulas of Halkidiki. It is close to the glorious and unspoiled beaches of the Sithonia peninsula. The bus station is roughly 9 km from the resort and Thessaloniki 'Macedonia' Airport is about 80 km away. This luxurious low rise hotel, with magnificent views over Mount Olympus and the Aegean, provides guests with an array of amenities. White sand and ancient olive groves adorn the surrounding hills. The magnificently welcoming bungalows, with contemporary design of soothing blue and white colours, provide a private setting with stunning views, while a choice of exciting cuisine ensures a very memorable stay.
I went here with my my family, which includes two kids under the age of 12. This was by far one of the best summer holidays we’ve had. Excellent resort, excellent staff, excellent restaurants, and there’s a wonderful town Square around their marina, with shops that stay open till late. All the restaurants have a nice theme and vibe and many activities to choose from highly recommend for any young family! They also accommodated our vegetarian diet very well
Amazing hotel with a great service. Love the town center - very lively
The WhatsApp chat was very handy to get things done.
Great options for restaurants
Beautiful views.
Great bear grylls experience
The climbing experience was also great for kids and adults
On value - expensive but one of the best resorts I’ve been to.
Just got back from Sani Club, where we've now been for the 5th time. The location is what makes all the money here. Sani Club is part of the Sani resort, which has several other hotels, each more interesting than the last.
In our opinion, Sani Club is the nicest, because it's set in a pine forest with the sea on one side and a view of Mount Olympus. Plus some absolutely wonderful gardens in terms of variety and professional landscaping, a solid 10 out of 10. What sets it apart as a strong point is that it's not a hotel, but rather villas and bungalows with a ground floor and upper floor, spread through the forest and among the gardens, all the way to the seashore. It's a luxury hotel with a price to match.
The model is full or half board, with drinks and anything consumed on the beach not included, which significantly increases the cost of the stay. This full/half board applies to the buffet at the Olimpos restaurant, where you pay nothing (aside from extra drinks), and to dining at the other 25 restaurants throughout the rest of the resort (in our case, up to a limit of €25/person — which is easily exceeded, though). But the variety of restaurant types, and in many cases the excellent quality of the menus and service at these restaurants, make them an option always worth considering despite the higher expense.
This year, Pines and Avli pleasantly surprised us, and we'd recommend at least one dinner at each, even for those not staying at the resort.
Overall, though, especially in terms of administration and transport by buggy cars (the little vehicles that connect the villas to the beach / restaurants / rest of the resort), things aren't what they used to be in the early years.
Even at the Olimpos buffet, things aren't the same anymore, either in terms of variety of dishes or, sometimes, quality. A big plus, and thanks to Boris, who's been our waiter at this restaurant for years and who masterfully tries to make up for the shortcomings that have appeared over the past 2 years.
Another point that didn't work well was the resort's reception staff, especially at check-out this year, when things weren't up to standard and the attitude wasn't at the level you'd expect from a luxury resort.
Otherwise, all good. We happily recommend it.
Wonderful hotel and I would certainly be looking to book another trip. Everything was good but the stand out features for me is the huge number of restaurant options and the quality of the beaches, which for Europe are truly exceptional, they are at a standard I normally associate with Thailand or other spots in Asia. Rooms were very nicely equipped and we had a nice spacious suite. Highly recommend this hotel !
Excelant resort and hotel. Very helpfull and kind staff, especially concierge Christos and Maria from restoran Ouzerie.
