- Kassandra Bay Village

The Kassandra Bay Village is away from the mainroad, downhill between the village of Kriopigi and the local beach. Surrounded by trees and gardenarea, very quiet and relaxing location. Only a few hundred meters away from the local sandy beach. Large car park in the Hotelarea. The village of Kriopigi offers bars, shops restaurant, the nice church and a amphitheatre. Kriopigi is a quiet village, but the neighbor villages are only 5-8km away, Kallithea with its nightclubs, Polichrono with a nice seafront.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
the hotel is a total joke, the rooms are on a slope, there is hardly any hot water, the food is very bad. Cheap and old. The staff is bored and tired, the beach is small and far away. An unpleasant experience. Greece is a beautiful country, but some accommodation places leave you with a bitter taste.
Not what is advertised. Evening food is practically inedible, with hardly any options, breakfast is almost just as bad. Staff are lovely but it doesn’t make up for the lack of service, pool doesn’t look like it gets cleaned at all. There is no “poolside bar” which is advertised, there was no where in the hotel to purchase drinks. I’m not sure if it’s because I went end of season, however it was definitely not what was advertised and I would not recommend.
We spent two fantastic weeks at Kassandra Bay. Many thanks to Iannis, Eleni, Christos, Anastasia, Iannis and the whole team for making us feel at home. The food is home made and the swimming pool area is really nice.We will definitely come back.
Stayed for Spring Break partirs. Very friendly and helpful staff. We had breakfast included everything was clean and tidy. Its a great overall spot. Only there is a big hill if you are not with a car, but you can grab a taxi or ask the hotel to give you lift.
The hotel is small, cozy, and truly welcoming. Our room was compact but had everything we needed — a fridge, air conditioning, and stable Wi-Fi. The best part was the spacious balcony with a sea view, complete with a table and chairs. There's also a clean and well-kept pool on the property, which was a real treat on hot days.
Breakfasts, while simple, were varied enough: cereals, boiled eggs, cheese, ham, cold cuts, fresh veggies, toast, jams, coffee, tea, and juice — plenty to choose from. Dinners were a pleasant surprise — every evening brought something different: meatballs, grilled chicken, souvlaki, pasta or steamed vegetables, salads, and always fresh seasonal fruit (melon, nectarine, watermelon).
We want to sincerely thank the hotel staff — everyone was extremely friendly and attentive. A special shout-out to Yanis and Eleni, who seemed to work as front desk managers — they were the heart of the place! Always welcoming, helpful, and kind. The owner also left a great impression — though we didn’t speak much, he always greeted us warmly with a smile.
It’s about a 10-minute walk downhill to the beach, but for extra comfort, the hotel runs a shuttle three times a day. The beach itself is rather wild, with no amenities, but the sea is absolutely stunning — crystal-clear, clean, and very inviting!
The village of Kryopigi is a 10-minute walk uphill. It has plenty of restaurants, cafés, and souvenir shops. Prices are a bit on the high side, but the atmosphere is charming and tourist-friendly. We tried to bargain a little — not always successfully — but vendors often added a small gift to our purchase, which was a nice touch 😊
And most importantly — my wife was really happy with our stay… and trust me, she’s not that easy to please 😄
