We had a room on the 6th floor with a nice balcony with lovely views. Very comfortable bed. The beach is right across the street. We had a rental car and Harry in the lobby reception was very helpful with suggestions of places to visit. Breakfast was plentiful, delicious and included. The town Nea Kallikratia was cute to walk around, as well.
We stayed here for last 2 weeks and I mean we stayed here we did not go out much, We were sold this holiday as a beach front hotel it is not the beach is 100m away it's filthy full of fag butts and old Eastern European men in Buggie smugglers. The hotel saved our stay it was clean the staff were mainly young girls who worked hard one young girl helped us so much her name was Anostasia she moved our room for us good job because that's where stayed for 12 days nice hotel totally in the wrong place for British people. The area around the hotel is a run down weekend place for Greeks probably in the 1980's it's dilapidated weeds in the street vandalised buildings with graffiti all over the walls no shops just one supermarket (thank god) a small family restaurant where eat most nights but that's ok if you like Greek food everywhere else is a long walk or a cab ride away. The local boys treat it as a rat run with there motorbikes and cars so a lot of noise and fumes . Everyone smokes everywhere so you have that to put up with as well. We lived on the balcony of our room for the 12 days so the hotel saved us from our nightmare 99% of people in the town Bulgarians Romanians and Serbs no one to talk to but all the staff spoke fairly good English . Thanks to all of the staff the cleaners kept our room so clean everyone said hello which made us feel better but we would never return. ps the photo in the picture does not exist.
Beautiful resort, we were provided with a updated room, which was spacious for my family of four. The room was sparkling clean and very comfortable, including super cold air conditioning! The furnishings were beautiful, and the balcony was very spacious, with a beautiful view of the sea/beach.
My family didn’t care for the breakfast buffet options, the food wasn’t great. The bar by the pool did not have the best selection. The pool area looks nice, but it is not practical. There are barely any lounge chairs and the tile surrounding the pool is not meant for a pool since it is very slippery when wet.
Unfortunately, we did not get a chance to dine at the rooftop restaurant, but we visited there one night and it had a spectacular view of the area, and a great vibe.
The staff is spectacular! They are so incredibly helpful, especially getting us a cab quite a few times.
We came here for a family trip but we left very disappointed.
We primarily booked this hotel for the spa but it was completely unusable. Both the sauna and hamam were cold. We reported this issue but only heard defensive words back saying it is what it is..
On top of all these they are charging 15 euros per person per day to use faulty spa facilities!
The other issue was that we booked directly on their website to benefit from late check out advertised as 6pm and yet we were not given any late check out for one of the rooms and only given to 1pm for the second one.
Lesson learnt: do not book directly it’s more expensive and you won’t get the advertised benefits.
The rooms also have thin walls and are very noisy until very early in the morning you can hear people from the surrounding rooms.
Overall, very overpriced for what this hotel offers and what made it worse is the very unapologetic and defensive attitude of hotel stuff when we reported the spa issue.
Two stars and it’s very generous.
