We had a wonderful stay at Ikos Olivia! The service was exceptional, with friendly and attentive staff who truly made us feel welcome. Beautiful surroundings, and a perfect atmosphere for families with children. A truly relaxing five-star experience. Highly recommended, and we can't wait to return!
Lacking something and better timings
We have been staying as 3 generation with youngest being just 2. Having stayed at Oceania as a couple which is wonderful, I hoped this resort because of the positives for young toddlers would be better but it's sadly lacking. Our little one has had no evening shows as they are terribly timed especially as your dinner reservations clash. I suppose jf you went to the buffet you might make it to an 8pm Minions show, but normally all you get is 7.30/8pm a la carte dinner. The stay and play area is awful so there's little for under 5's apart from the pool and a playground. For a toddler enjoying a resort I think iberostar and H10 are better even if you forego the a la carte restaurant options for a lot less. A show at 5-6 would seem more logical. The theatre is isolated and open to the elements so cancellation is also more likely leaving you with evenings with nothing. Definitely back to Oceania!!

We absolutely loved our stay!
This was our second Ikos visit, but our first to Olivia, and I can safely say it totally reinforced why we fell in love with the Ikos brand first time around. Our room - a suite with private garden and garden view - was spacious, in a nice quiet location, and was immaculately cared for by a lovely, friendly housekeeping team. For an October stay, we were very lucky with the weather, with mid-twenties temperatures every day, blue skies and gentle breezes. I needed a sweater for breakfasts and in the evenings (so we could make the most of sitting outside) but it was never really cold. On to the food - wow! As food lovers (who isn’t?!) we were in our element. Every dish, from breakfast through to dinner, in every restaurant, was utterly delicious. You can clearly tell that the F&B team are very particular about sourcing excellent quality ingredients, and the chef teams (who really do deserve to be praised so highly) present their dishes with so much care and attention to detail. Talking of attention to detail, one evening we spotted the pool attendant using a string to arrange the loungers ‘just so’, to make sure they all lined up perfectly. That sort of pride in a job well done isn’t something you see every day. We had a fabulous week and were really disappointed when it was time to come home. So why the four stars? In the interests of being totally honest, we felt the restaurants could all have benefited from an adults-only seating area. Every restaurant at Ikos Odisia (Corfu) had this option, and with Olivia being such a full-on family destination, a small area for quieter dining would have been a real winner. The only restaurant that offered this was Flavours. We’ve also shaved off a bit of a star for the pool - by the end of our week the deluxe pool was bumper-to-bumper giant inflatables - not just the usual doughnuts and flamingoes, but full-on sea-worthy dinghies, captained by rambunctious eight year old boys with no adult oversight. Yes, I know we’re all there to enjoy our holidays in our own ways, but when one/two family groups dominate the pool and make it impossible to enjoy a nice leisurely swim, it became a little frustrating. It would be nice if the pool attendants to keep the inflatables a bit better controlled.

Incredible food, great staff and super family friendly
An unbelievable experience from start to finish. Me and my wife took our two year old and everything is so well set up for families. High chair and step chairs with kiddy friendly cutlery in all restaurants.
We upgraded to a junior suite and it was so well designed. Our daughter slept in the living room space and we had a sliding door to the bedroom. There were separate doors for us to access the bathroom and balcony from our room so we didn’t disturb her in the evening when she was sleeping.
Food highlight was Anaya. An incredible à la carte Asian. All the restaurants were great and even the buffet, which you don’t have to book, has a great selection and quality food.
Carlos was so good at the pool! Although we had a QR code to order we rarely had to use it as the staff were all so attentive. If you wanted something that wasn’t on the menu, you could more than likely still get it!
Would highly recommend and want to visit other Ikos resorts in the future. Yes, it’s pricey, but you fully get what you pay for here!

October family stay
We travelled as a group of 7 and a 2 and a half year old, we cannot say enough good things about this hotel. It is the best place we have ever been for a family holiday, the food was out of this world and does not compare to your usual all inclusive. The service from the staff was incredible, they couldn't do enough for you and were so helpful. Carlos down by the aqua bar was great in keeping our drinks full all day. Everyone works so hard here and they are a credit to Ikos. We originally booked a panoramic junior suite in the main hotel which was beautiful and spacious , however we were lucky enough to receive a complimentary upgrade to a one bedroom suite during our stay which was fantastic and great for having extra space with a little one. Taking the clubman's out for the day was also a great experience to see more of the island! Car seat was also in there for our baby.
We are really sad to be leaving today and are already talking about coming back next September for another stay here. I don't think we will stay anywhere other than an Ikos now!
