Our son’s swimming lessons with Despoina were really excellent. She built his confidence, persevered and by the end of the week he was a noticeably stronger swimming. Well worth the money. Thank you Despoina!
Amazing experience. The resort is beautiful, staff incredible, service perfect and F&B offerings superb. Cannot be faulted.
Best vacation ever - if you want to relax immediately and don’t worry about a thing during your vacation - choose Ikos Deluxe Olivia and enjoy the incredible sense of being taken care of without anyone being in your face. The scenery is like from a movie! Fabulous beaches, fantastic set up including spacious villas and plenty of space to enjoy the sea in peace, food is top class and service just personal. I could relax 10 min upon arrival - the resort is beautiful. Special thanks to Nikas, Petros, Darvil and Antonia for making our stay unforgettable We are coming back best summer!!
We had a fantastic 12-night stay at Ikos Olivia. It’s a beautiful, relaxed resort and overall we came away very impressed.
The food was a real highlight. The à la carte restaurants were excellent, particularly the Asian and Italian. The Italian has a beautiful setting overlooking the sea, especially around the lemon tree. The buffet was also high quality with plenty of choice, although we found the dessert selection a little underwhelming.
We used the Dine Out option twice. Elia was fantastic – amazing food and a stunning view. Moungario wasn’t quite as good for us personally, with a more limited menu.
The à la cartes are what really make Ikos special. The food, settings and service were consistently excellent. You could genuinely eat breakfast, lunch and dinner in high-quality sit-down restaurants for your entire holiday without visiting a buffet. I’ve never experienced that to this level at another all-inclusive resort.
Service overall was excellent, although occasionally a little slower for drinks around the buffet and lobby bar. Carlos around the beach pool was brilliant and an absolute character, while Lavinia at Potami Bar was incredibly attentive.
A particular mention has to go to Niki, the Front of House Manager. She spent time listening to our feedback, genuinely cared about our experience and made sure our final evening at the Garden restaurant was a really memorable one. She is a real credit to Ikos.
Our room was comfortable, although slightly small, and cleaning could have been a little more thorough. One brilliant touch was the pillow menu – as a front sleeper I asked for a flatter pillow and was given a whole menu to choose from.
Our 8-year-old absolutely loved Kids Club, particularly Evie and Megan, and wanted to go back most days. The complimentary Mini for the day was another fantastic addition and gave us the opportunity to explore outside the resort.
The only area that fell slightly short for us was entertainment. There are plenty of sports facilities, but activities were generally very quiet and evening entertainment could be hit and miss. The string quartet playing modern music was brilliant, though. Ikos is clearly designed to be a more relaxed resort, so for many people this may actually be a positive.
Overall, 5/5. The resort isn’t completely flawless, but the exceptional à la carte dining, beautiful surroundings, thoughtful touches and some genuinely outstanding staff made this a fantastic holiday. The way Niki and the team listened to feedback also showed how much they care about the guest experience.
We had a lovely 12 nights and would definitely consider returning.
Ikos Olivia is an outstanding resort. The choices of restaurants and bars are excellent and add that to prime location of this expansive resort it is an ideal holiday for all generations. This is our 5th Ikos holiday and I can’t recommend it highly enough. The crowning glory is the staff ..they couldn’t be more helpful and pleased to help you. Definitely 11/10
