There are several swimming pools (also 2 for children) in the grounds and other on-site amenities include a gymnasium and a hot tub. Guests can enjoy themselves playing billiards and table tennis. Other organised activities include bingo and quizzes. The main restaurant offers Greek and international cuisine, and can organise lunch baskets on request, and 3 bars serve coffee, cocktails, etc., the main bar until late. All rooms and bungalows have individually-controlled air-conditioning/heating and a furnished balcony or terrace, etc.

Disappointing stay
Stayed in this hotel for 2 weeks in September with my husband and another couple First the good points, apart from one rude bar man in the main bar the staff are all very polite and helpful especially the restaurant staff and the cleaning staff, a shout out to Joe who always has a big smile on his face wherever he is working. The rooms are spotless, the room air con is good and the reception and restaurant are clean The location of the hotel is good just across a busy road with an underpass to the town and beautiful beach (steep steps to the underpass) The hotel is rated as 4* and I agree with other reviews, it definitely is not. It’s not worth the 140 euros local tax and in a 4 star hotel I have never had to pay 50 euros for a rusty safe which had to be operated by key as the electronic buttons did not work, at breakfast a 3 euro charge for fresh orange juice and a 3 euro charge every time pool towels are changed. The children’s pool is very small, many of the sun beds are broken and dirty and the drains are smelly and full of dirt and hair. The adult pool is cleaner but towels are put on beds to reserve early in the morning and although hotel policy says this is not allowed, it is not enforced and very annoying when beds are reserved and not used until much later in the day. As a result we went to the lovely beach most days. The restaurant food is mainly good salads, pizza and fresh pasta always available, but very repetitive, there are no theme nights or show cooking. There is no air con in the restaurant with the small outside area full of smokers. There is no atmosphere in the bar in the evening, the lighting is too bright, the bar man is rude and entertainment is patchy, with quiz night being the only entertainment on several nights. The rooms although spotless are dated, no drawers, sliding wardrobe doors that don’t slide and a ‘garden view’ of a scruffy patch of rough ground. Because we went to the beach most days and into town some evenings for some authentic Greek food and atmosphere we found we spent more than expected for a 4* star hotel holiday and so did not feel the hotel was good value and would not return.
Follow up review
Update from our recent stay. Only a couple y niggles sunbed blaggers, people using their torches at 6 in the morning to grab a bed. We knew this as the light shone through our window.... These people really need to get a grip. Cleaners forgot to leave pool towels, but was sorted straight away. Not a problem really. Regarding the review about lattes being served in glasses....ours were but proper latte glasses.. Yes a couple of bits were looking tired but I personally don't go around on my hands and knees to look for any faults. Things do wear out ,but I think the bad weather Crete had the previous week doesn't help the reviews. They need to blame something. I've never met any staff from any hotel so happy in their work The staff are an absolute credit. George, Maria, Irine, Stella, Manos they work very hard and love their jobs. Lots of happiness coming from the kitchen. Nothing is too much trouble to any of the staff. A big how ya maken out to George you know who we are. We had a great time and if we laughed you all laughed. Keep it going. One last thing YAMMAS 👍 white wine😍
Cheap Bar Products for Premium Price
Imagine you are in the budget isle of lidl, and you buy their own brand cola, then to add some grown up-ness and buy their own brand budget whisky/vodka (doesnt matter) There you have the most disgusting all inclusive bar I have ever had the unfortunate displeasure of tasting. Everything has no resemblance to their real world original. Beer and wine is tasteless. Spoiling the 4 star paid for experience and no option to 'upgrade' to a premium drinks option. Guess I will have to go to a local supermarket and fork out more for a bottle of the real stuff. Hotel is good though, and so far the food is nice. Very friendly staff and the usual obligatory cat. Only one bar open at a pool tucked away outside, as the other one not open during the day. Such a shame but then, the one bar is deserted, obviously a rteflection on the cheap products offered.
amazing/beautiful Hotel!
i highly recommend this hotel if you’re an adult or if your coming with children its kid friendly and adult friendly the staff are absolutely amazing, ive never had a stay with such good staff before this is my 3rd year coming here now in a row , drinks available all day long from morning to night rooms are very nice and cozy! and i highly highly recommend this place for anyone! they also brought me a birthday cake for my birthday and the food is absolutely amaing!

Disappointed
Dissapointing stay at this hotel. Room was small, dated and dark, balcony outlook poor, it was positioned looking straight into a clay hillside with an enormous rubber plant dominating everything and blocking the light. The beds however were very comfortable and housekeeping was very good. Bathroom was well past its best although the shower over the bath was powerful and water was hot. We had issues with the plughole in the sink. It was fixed but same issue happened again a few days later. I had requested a move to a room with a walk in shower but they were unable to accommodate me. I had to request a non slip mat. They did however leave a bottle of wine and 2 glasses with a note wishing us a happy holiday which was a nice gesture. Food was rarely warm and the dining area lacked any atmosphere. The staff in all areas were very good and are a big asset to this hotel. The location was good with easy access to the town. I also requested a late check out as check out was 11am and we were not leaving until 7pm. They were unable to accommodate me. We did have access to courtesy room which to my surprise was so much nicer than our room! Very bright, nice aspect even though it was over a road, less dated bathroom. Seeing this only added to my disappointment. 😔
