A gem of a find.
Stayed here last week with my family and my mum.
Upon arrival we were gobsmacked at the hotel as it surpassed expectations. A fantastic mini-complex with aunthentic Greek vibes. Beautiful rooms overlooking the pool and sea view in the distance with the mountains behind you.
Throughout our stay the staff were lovely and welcoming and Jurgus was an entertaining presence.
A great selection of foods at breakfast and evening dinner, spoilt for choice so helped myself to a few dishes and gained a few pounds.
Nightly entertainment was fun(Call me the bingo and Quiz master!).
Everywhere was immaculately clean and a good mix of age groups and nationalities were in attendance each being treated the same.
Peaceful throughout the day when having pool days.
Only a 15/20 minute walk from Malia town and a selection of lovely beaches.
Been missing it since we returned Saturday night. Would highly recommend and would happily visit again.

Very welcoming hotel
I came regularly to this lovely hotel until just after Covid then had a break so I could visit other countries. I found the majority of the staff especially the reception team extremely hospitable and keen to go out of their way to make my holiday as comfortable as possible. Because of mobility issues I couldn't get down on to the sunbed but every morning one of the waiters without me asking would remove one of the sunbeds and replace it with two chairs facing each other so I could still sunbathe. I cannot tell you how much I appreciated that. I enjoyed the varied nightly entertainment. If you don't like hard beds ask reception for a mattress topper. It made the bed so much more comfortable. Only let down for me was the food. Although there were hot plates the food still got cold very quickly. I had a crepe for breakfast on my last morning and I had to reheat it in a microwave 3 times! Other food was swimming in olive oil which was not pleasant. Also the microwave needs regular cleaning and checks. It was filthy at the back but I had to use it. Also bread often was not fresh and tasted like it had been lying around for two or three days. If I came again I would go out for breakfast and dinner. At least I lost some weight!

Great holiday at the Anastasia
We stayed here for 14 nights on the 19th May. The reception staff Sofia, Laruca and Mohammed all very nice, helpful and professional. The hotel mangeress was brilliant and gave us excellent service throughout with help with food requests for our autistic son and she was actively liasing with guests throughtout the stay. Fantastic restaurant staff who were constantly hard working and very friendly, food was great always tasty and ample choice. All in all we had a lovely family holiday and will definately return to the Anastasia in the future. Thank you...caroline,steve and Joseph.

Fantastic, will return
We have just spent 10 nights here, the staff are absolutely amazing and have gone above and beyond, everyone is so welcoming. We have had fresh bedding and towels most of our stay here, the food is also at top quality for a 3* hotel,this hasn’t been our first visit to this hotel and won’t be our last. We hope to return in 2027

Cretian pleasures…
I have just spent a week at this hotel in late June 2026 via Tui holidays. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. They work so hard to keep the hotel clean and tidy, the food is of a very high quality and there is plenty of choice. I would highly recommend this hotel, and would love to return in the future.
