A Jewel
The room is on the small side but we manged by asking for more hangers. The shower was rather poor. The room is kept very clean and serviced twice a day.
Breakfast is not a vast buffet it is however more than enough. Eggs are made to order a you are also asked to order your drinks at the same time.
Sunbeds initially there was plenty, as the hotel got busier more sunbeds got reserved especially around the pool. The staff do there best but humans will be humans. Sunbeds on the beach were less popular but did become busy as they are available for rent to non residents. Which makes commercial sense but does change the ambience slightly.
The hotel is situated in the centre of town with plenty of good restaurants nearby. It also sits on the best part of the beach with easy access to the sea.
The barmaid on the front bar became or personal guide to heraklion and was lovely to chat with . Nadia was very helpful and full of local information, Irinia too was very helpful in fact all the staff are very friendly and professional and certainly made our stay very enjoyable.
Something to note that this hotel is affiliated to Marriot. I would definitely recommend this hotel, you won't be disappointed.

Wonderful hotel and resort!
A perfect hotel! Close to everything, yet quiet and peaceful. Direct access to the beach where sun beds and towels are free. All the staff are amazing and breakfast was fabulous. Small but comfortable rooms with free bottled water every day. Also complimentary soft drinks, fruit and cookies in reception. We loved it here!

Virginia Beach/Ocean city MD vibes
Hotel is good but not a 4 star. Pros - room was clean, nice size pool, and on beach
Cons - mid tier hotel, breakfast was okay, coffee was ok - not great. They say they pull towels from lounges at 45 minutes if no one is there but we witnessed several lounges where people left their bags and shoes for hours with no one using it.
Bonvoy status - upgrade consisted of balcony overlooking pool but room size was small. The staff were friendly.
If you’re from the US, this area is like Virginia beach or Ocean City MD, not desirable.

Fantastic hotel
This was are second time staying at this hotel as we love it so much . The rooms are immaculate cleaned twice a day The staff are so lovely nothing is to much trouble for them Breakfast is very good all freshly prepared eggs made to order . The staff are so helpful friszel is a little ray of sunshine she greets you every morning with a smile and the lovely msiya who I remember from last year. We will definitely be booking again for next year

I am so glad I chose this hotel for my first stay in Crete.
George, the manager, came to greet us on our very first day and ensured our stay was truly comfortable.
When my daughter was suffering from a painful sunburn and the pharmacy-prescribed treatment wasn't helping, Nadije from the hotel brought us some fresh aloe vera; thanks to that, she began to recover. She was super kind every time.
The rest of the staff also showed wonderful hospitality. I am especially grateful to George; when we realized on our last day that we had forgotten to book a taxi to the airport, he immediately arranged a large vehicle for us, allowing us to travel to the airport in comfort and without stress.
Finally, I am worried about the fires currently affecting Crete. I sincerely hope that everyone at the hotel stays safe.
