This charming beach hotel is situated at the end of an 11-kilometre long beach, which stretches to the historical town of Rethymnon. The area is rich in attractions and places of interest like the St.Nikolas Church, or the famous mountain caves nearby. Whether they have spent the day lazing at the beach or exploring the region, guests are sure to find peace and relaxation in the cool air-conditioned rooms, complete with large balconies with sea or garden views. The hotel is especially popular among those travelling with children as the outdoor area has a kids' swimming pool, a kids' club and a games room. In addition to delicious meals, the restaurant offers also Greek evenings, disco nights and various entertainment programmes.

Lovely hotel with very helpful staff and great food, sea front location, beach not far away, easy bus route to get in to the town with lovely streets and shops.
Relax friendly place.
The hotel is situated in a quiet area but with easy access to a bus route or stroll along the beach the bars and restaurants. Rooms were clean and functional with nice warm showers. The staff are really friendly and helpful couldn't ask for better and the food was really good lots of choice and plenty of it. Would definitely come back again. Lovely place.
A Lovely Week at Begeti Bay Hotel, Crete
We’re currently halfway through our week at Begeti Bay Hotel, Crete, and so far we’re having a lovely holiday.
The weather hasn’t been quite what we’d hoped for, but that certainly hasn’t spoilt things. The hotel is really clean and well looked after, the staff are fantastic — friendly, welcoming and always happy to help — and there’s a great choice of food, with plenty of variety.
We’re enjoying our time here and looking forward to the rest of our stay. Credit to the team for making us feel welcome and helping make our holiday an enjoyable one, whatever the weather brings!

Happy stay
Hotel was clean and tidy. Food was lovely and tasty . With Greek food and others styles available . All staff from cleaners to managers were very friendly and helpfull all with a smile . A special mention for Martina and Andi (Toni) who kept us supplied with drink and entertainment.

Ok but not great
Not as good as the pictures or peoples reviews in our opinion. No beach at all ( nearest beach half a mile away) sunbeds that were on the said beach were actually on the side of a road on pebbles with rocks into the sea . Yes it’s isolated but we knew that . Very quiet place lovely staff who worked hard. Food cooked well but basic. No nice glasses to drink out of eg wine glasses . The Pool area is beautiful lots of sunbeds, but lots of steps that you can’t see so people had to be careful getting around the pool . No gardens . Rooms very clean and bedding clean also . No chair to sit and do your hair , but you can get one off of the balcony . Bathroom not good rusty Shower . I think this hotel is slowly upgrading each area and when it’s done it will be good. If you want a relaxing quiet holiday then this is one to go for . Getting around there are taxis but quite expensive, or you can get the local bus to towns and beaches . This cost €2.20 each way but you MUST get this from the hotel as busses don’t carry cash .
