Best staff ever
Everything and everyone at this hotel were amazing, the staff were the friendliest, all of them, and made you feel so welcome and special.

It’s going to be fantastic
We had a junior suite with a sea view, it’s a lovely room, with a great view - but that could change if the waste ground in front gets built on.
There are a lot of migrant workers at the hotel who are just the nicest people and really go out of their way to be welcoming and friendly.
Some of the national workers could learn from them.
The breakfast is great, and drink service around the pool is good.
Sunbeds are so comfortable.
You can easily spot the parts that will be renovated over the winter.
It’s a fantastic location.

Just what we needed
Great location, easily can walk around Sissi and the harbour from here, such lovely scenery. We were bed and breakfast board so didnt eat lunch or dinner at the hotel but the breakfast was good, lots of choice. Staff and cleanliness and the grounds/facilities were all great

Hotel was very nice .room was very clean very day by the maid But the food at the evening could do with looking at we had the same food at night so some nights we ate out of the hotel Pools lovely and clean and so were the toilets Staff were very welcoming and could not do more for us But the hotel is still being modernised and will not be finished till 2028 lot to still be done

A wonderful hotel in a beautiful little resort – we will definitely be back!
We have just returned from an absolutely fantastic 10-night stay at the Vasia Resort & Spa, and I honestly cannot praise it enough.
The hotel itself is beautiful, with lovely grounds, fabulous pools and a wonderful atmosphere. We stayed in a Junior Suite with Sea View, which was spacious, beautifully presented and perfect for our stay.
However, what really makes this hotel special is the staff. Every single person we encountered was warm, friendly and genuinely welcoming. From the lovely cleaning lady who couldn’t do enough for us, to the waiters, pool attendants and reception staff, everyone was wonderful. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they really do make the hotel stand out.
A special thank you to the management team, who were incredibly helpful with some arrangements we needed to make before our arrival. Their kindness and attention to detail were very much appreciated.
And then there’s Sissi itself! What an absolutely charming little resort. It’s compact, picturesque and has a lovely relaxed atmosphere, but don’t be fooled by its size — there are plenty of traditional tavernas and bars to keep you occupied. It’s the perfect place for a leisurely evening stroll, a lovely meal and a few drinks.
We particularly loved Taverna Amelia, where we ate three times during our stay. The food and hospitality were wonderful, and their Greek night is an absolute must — don’t miss it!
We also hired a quad bike for two days and explored the surrounding area, which I would highly recommend. There are some beautiful places to discover, and it was a fantastic way to see more of Crete at our own pace.
All in all, we couldn’t have asked for a better holiday. The combination of a beautiful hotel, exceptional staff and the charm of Sissi made it somewhere really special.
Would we recommend it? Without hesitation. Will we return? Absolutely!
