The hotel is located by the beach and overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. It is 2 km from the town centre of Rethymnon, which is located on the Greek island of Crete.
This hotel is built in modern Greek style and features a TV lounge, children's playground, bar, restaurant, conference facilities, Internet access and a car park.
All rooms are equipped with telephone, satellite TV, radio, hairdryer, safety deposit box, fridge, bath/shower and WC. Individually regulated air conditioning (June-October for minimum 12 hours daily) and heating are provided and the rooms are also furnished with a balcony and a clothes rack.
The hotel has two outdoor swimming pools with a separate children's swimming area and a poolside snack bar. Guests may also relax on the sun terrace under the parasols on sun loungers. The hotel offers several other recreational facilities, including a gym, hot tub, sauna, steam room, massage and spa treatments.

Excellent hotel and great amenities
I was fortunate to get a free upgrade to the aegean pearl for my stay and found my overall experience to be excellent. The hotel was lovely and the room was comfortable and clean everything I needed was supplied. The service in the restaurant was also very good. The staff where very attentive and professional. I have to also say I used the spa and was very surprised as with my experience. You generally have to pay to get access to the facilities l, but there where free for the guests and the gym was well equipped. And would like to give a special thanks to the staff of the spa. Had two deep tissue massages and they where very good.

Faultless service from all staff at the Pearl Beach and Aegean Pearl Hotels.
Located at the end of the seafront promenade, the hotel is ideally placed to experience Rethymno, but also to enjoy relaxed times. The beach is just across the road, as well as shops, bars and restaurants on the doorstep of the hotel. The hotel is modern, with bright rooms, which come with a free-to-use safe, fridge, and air con. Bed comfy. Bathrooms are hit and miss depending on your room. Room 311 bathroom small, with a bath and no walk-in shower, but a shower over the bath, with a shower curtain. (For a 4-star hotel, I wouldn't expect a shower curtain.)
The food in the restaurant is fresh and well cooked, but it's not amazing.
The pool is laid out well, never an issue with sunbeds.
The standout for this hotel is the staff, always happy and smiling; nothing is too much trouble.
The only slight negatives, no secure luggage room (just a corner of reception), unlike in the restaurant, you are unable to charge drinks from the bar to your room and pay on departure. Better promotion of the spa and indoor pool.

Wonderful stay
I would like to thank to all the staff from Pearl beach hotel for wonderful holidays. We came back to this hotel for the second time. The main reason why we chose to return to Pearl beach hotel was wonderful staff working in this hotel. We were happy to see same people working when we came back after two years. Everyone was so friendly, we are really thankful and are planning to return. The place of this hotel is very convenient for us, you can either take a taxi to the city center or take a walk and enjoy beautiful views along the beach. I would also like to mention that we enjoyed the food both during beakfasts and dinners so much. The food was always fresh and so delicious. There was a big variety of different dishes during dinners. We are sending greetings from Lithuania and wish you best of luck!
Had a wonderful vacation at Pearl Beach
Location was super; just across the street was beach, where you can rent beach-chairs with umbrella 7eur/day; also you can order drinks and food and all is delivered for you. Pool water was in the beggining of June already very warm and enough chairs also there; in reception you could get any time refreshing glass of water. Breakfast and dinner - a lot of variety of things + at breakfast freshly squeezed orange juice and some smoothie; prices for evening drinks - water 2.50 (1 l) and wine prices from 5-6.- (glass); ladies serving are very friendly. A bit different was that coffee was served in a coffee pot. Our room was a bit old but mostly everything was there - missed just one power outlet beside another bed and it was a bit inconvenient to use the shower because the faucet controls were not in the usual place. Cleaning and changing towels in rooms daily, beah towels 3 times per week. Also had some toiletries, spacious closet, mini-fridge, TV, wifi very good. Every night had some evening program; car rent, shops, restaurants in every corner. If you need to do check-out and have your transfer later - you can still stay there - shower-room is usable free of charge :) Would definately go back :)
