Great hotel to enjoy the holidays
The room we stayed in was fabulous, view over the seafront, swimming pool and its palm garden. It has a modern but welcoming feel. 1 bedroom and a loungeroom with sofabed, fridge and nespresso coffeemaker. Cleanliness is at a very high standards. The pool is of a good size, clean and well looked after. Early mornings it is being maintained religiously. Breakfast offers a lot of lovely choices and dinners have truly greek traditional dishes to offer. Service of the team, well, that is one of the best I have ever encountered!! Lovely people and the family who runs the business. All in all, lovely surroundings, hotel and amenities tiptop, close to other restaurants and shops, to have a great holiday!
Excellent friendly service
Unfortunately we only found Marinos beach front hotel cafe/bar on our last day. We sat in the cafe/bar with a peaceful view of the beach. We were served by a delightful young lady called Angela who was incredibly kind and polite, an asset and testament to the hotel itself. Should we return to Crete again, we will be sure to stay at Marinos Beach Hotel. Bravo for the fantastic friendly service!
A great place to stay right on the beach.
A great hotel with very accommodating and friendly personnel. With the hotel having a pool and direct access to the beach, just wonderful. We stayed in a superior double swim up room which had direct access to an infinity pool at the far end away from the beach. A very smart and comfortable room with fridge and coffee maker and a large flat screen we didn't actually need. The only problem me had were mosquitos. But the mesh screen to the patio was a great help. Not sure how many other rooms have those?

Nightmare
This is not a five star hotel. Stayed here four nights with my husband. So many inefficient staff members. Rip off
The restaurant is a nightmare
We Love This Hotel and The Hard working Family Owners are First Class hosts.
So the Hotel is Being Upgrated Well Done Nicos & his Family for Bringing such a Good Enterprise To Plantanes. . It's impossible To Fault anything at this Hotel When You are Greeted By Head of Family Nicos With Such A Warm welcoming Smile & Handshake & pat on the Back from Such a Hard Working Man & his Family. We have Been To the Marinos Many Times and will be Their again in 3 weeks time .
