Fantastic hotel, amazing island
What can I say about the hotel, my wife, I and the three kids stayed here for seven nights and we have loved it and worth the money.
A great place to relax with the family and let time pass. The facilities and room are good, with the pools kept clean and great fun with the kids. Location wise you’re not too close to town but plenty of shops and restaurants at the doorstep with an easy bus or taxi into Rethymno, and in the evenings quiet so you can relax in your balcony and enjoy family time and the stars.
The thing that makes this the best though is the staff, they are so kind and friendly, very much what we saw around the whole of Crete. Would come again and would recommend the hotel.

Definitely recommend!
Beautiful resort, all staff were polite and friendly from the moment we arrived. We stayed in a studio which was spacious & immaculately clean. The hotel has a lovely atmosphere, very family friendly but not overly loud. The pools were busy but still good for a quick swim in the afternoon, perfect for kids. We appreciated the pool's opening & closing times as one pool is next to the restaurant so it was good to have a peaceful breakfast before it opened. The beach is a very short walk away, the hotel has it's own allocated beds which were clean and not too crowded, in July. The restaurant has a lovely relaxed atmosphere, it was busy & at times we had to wait for a table for a few minutes but the staff work so hard to accommodate at all times. The buffet for both breakfast and dinner was varied and very enjoyable and, as vegetarians, we had no issue with choice. The professionalism of the staff really makes this hotel, from the cleaners, maintenance, restaurant chefs, waiting staff, reception & management, all were friendly, welcoming and hard working. The location of the hotel for us was perfect, a lovely selection of shops, and restaurants on the main strip & only €12 for a taxi into the old town. The hotel is also on the list for several excursion coach pick ups. A lovely enjoyable week, we would definitely visit again, Ευχαριστώ!
Beautiful Hotel with the Loveliest Staff
Our family of 4 have just returned from 11 wonderful nights at Casa Adele. The staff are the main asset here, lead by the very friendly and helpful manager Stathis. His team were superb, always met you with a smile and greeting, nothing was ever a bother to them, very helpful from the reception team who were always keen to provide advice and tips (shout out to the 2 Kris, Vee Vee and the other lovely young men always working there, sorry I didn't catch your names) , the housekeepers who cleaned the rooms to perfection with a smile and the maintenance team too. Every morning the staff are out washing the paths, windows, ledges the grounds are spotless. The food was of a really high standard, albeit the restaurant is small, there were different choices of food each night and always fresh, tasty and regularly replenished. The restaurant hosts, staff and manager again all very personable and genuinely kind and friendly. It's a credit to the hotel that some staff have worked there in excess of 10 years plus!
A few tips would be to reach out prior to arriving, Stathis really does try to meet customer needs. Be aware that there is no entertainment at all, even anything low key in the evenings, therefore we researched beach clubs, nice bars etc to visit prior to arriving to break things up a bit as we like some entertainment and action on holiday too. The reception staff were very good at asking about the type of things you like and your vibe and then making recommendations also.
We left feeling that Grecotel properties in general are of a really high standard, we manged to pop in to the Creta Palace further along the resort of Plantanus for a look and it was gorgeous, albeit much bigger. We felt safe the whole time in Casa Adele and it had a really laid back family atmosphere. Thank you again to all the staff who really made our holiday.

Excellent stay in Grecotel Casa Adele
Your hospitality was great, everthying was fine! We had a very nice week! We've been in this hotel for the second time. The first time its name was Gran Leoniki, the name has changed to Case Adele since then. We love Crete in general, this was already our 5th stay on the island. We've always enjoyed our stay there, but this hotel was exceptionally good. The room was excellent. Clean and well equipped. Your crew members were more than friendly, thonk you for that as well! If possible, we plan to return next summer as well, and we surely recommend it to everyone. Beata and Csaba from Hungary.
