Sunrise Village Hotel

I booked this hotel as I wanted my children to experience the culture in Crete while still having sufficient anmmenities and I was not disappointed. We arrived very late at night and very tired but greeted by the friendly Nino who instantly made us feel so welcome and helped us to our room, there was also some water and plates of food in the fridge which was very much appreciated. We had a maisonette which was very spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean, there were 2 air conditioning units , one upstairs and one downstairs which both worked very well and were cleaned during our stay. The beds were very comfortable and well sized and the showers were also very good. Our cleaner was very friendly and polite and cleaned and tidied our room to a high standard every day. I really enjoyed the local cuisine in the restaurant , the food was very nice and Fresh and constantly replenished . The pool area is very nice , plenty of sunbeds with shaded and sunny areas to suit . All staff made Us feel very welcome and they work very hard. There are a couple of very well priced supermarkets nearby. Other restaurants and shops are approximately a 10-15 minute walk but this can take a bit longer in the heat especially on the way back up the incline which some with mobility issues may struggle With a bit . However the location of the hotel Is great for exploring both Plantanias and Agia Marina both of which have lovely Shops, bars and restaurants. Our Son needed to see a doctor one evening and I was so grateful to the lady on reception who was so helpful in arranging for us to see a doctor and a taxi to get us there, we were seen quickly by the doctor and the GP receptionist then arranged a taxi to a chemist for us to collect a prescription and then take us back to the hotel, we could not have asked for more. I would highly recommend this hotel. Thankyou for a lovely stay.

Fantastic hotel with excellent value for money. The structure is beautiful, super clean and perfect for families.

A huge compliment to all the staff: extremely polite, professional and super accommodating. From hospitality to kindness, for any request we had they were always super efficient, helpful and with a smile.

And a special thank you to Nino from the animation team! She is an exceptional entertainer - so lovely, kind, funny and full of contagious enthusiasm. Our daughters couldn't wait to join activities with her every day. She made them feel special and they had so much fun. You can really see she loves her job and she was the highlight of our holiday!

We highly recommend Sunrise Village for a peaceful, relaxing and happy holiday with family, especially with small children and friends. We will definitely be back!

Perfect Vacation at Sunrise Village Hotel

We spent a week at the Sunrise Village Hotel in Crete and were absolutely delighted with our experience.

From the moment we arrived, everything was excellent. The reception staff were incredibly helpful, friendly, and always ready to assist with any request, making us feel welcome and well taken care of throughout our stay.

The resort is very well maintained, and the swimming pool was one of the highlights of our vacation. It was perfect for adults looking to relax while also providing plenty of fun for the children, who enjoyed it every day.

We stayed in a spotless two-story maisonette that was spacious, comfortable, and ideal for our family. We especially appreciated having two bathrooms, one upstairs and one downstairs, which made our stay even more convenient.

The food was excellent throughout the week, with a great variety of dishes and themed evenings every night that made each dinner unique and enjoyable.

The all-inclusive package was truly outstanding, including breakfast, lunch, dinner. Snacks, ice cream, and granita available during the afternoon at the pool bar. What amazed us most was that both alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails were included until 10:00 PM, which made the experience even more enjoyable. On the days we spent at the beach, the hotel even provided us with a packed lunch in a cooler bag, allowing us to enjoy our day without having to return for lunch. This level of service and attention to guests was exceptional. They were absolutely fantastic!

The additional services were also outstanding. We particularly appreciated the possibility of free renting beach towels and umbrellas, as well as the excellent organization of our tour to Balos, which allowed us to enjoy one of the most beautiful experiences of our holiday without any worries.

A special mention goes to the entertainer Nino, who was simply amazing. From the very first day, she won over our children, who adored her and enthusiastically joined every activity she organized throughout the entire vacation. Her energy, kindness, and ability to engage the kids made a huge difference and helped make our stay truly unforgettable.

We would like to thank the entire Sunrise Village Hotel staff for their professionalism, friendliness, and attention to detail. We highly recommend this hotel to families and anyone looking for a relaxing, fun, and well-organized holiday in Crete. We hope to come back soon!!!
