This wonderful resort boasts a stunning setting in Panormos, lying just a short distance away from the beach and in the ideal location from which to explore the surroundings. Bathed in the rich culture and charm of the surroundings, the resort lies just a short distance away from Rethymnon. Resembling a typical Cretan Village, this delightful complex enjoys a stunning design. Tempting guests into a veritable lap of luxury, the resort exudes elegance and charm. The guest rooms are beautifully designed, offering a peaceful sanctuary in which to escape the rest of the world. Guests are afforded a wealth of exemplary facilities, which attend to their dining, leisure and entertainment needs.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Have a massage with Manuelis in the spa! He is a true expert at his trade. So often a massage is just a box tick for a hotel. I walked out feeling taller and lighter. Years of stress undone in one 30 minute session. Thanks Manuelis.
It was really nice especially the food in most hotels I have been to the food wasn’t that good but here was great My experience has been amazing I made friends and the staff were super friendly.
Two main pools are both salt water, which some people might not like, but two freshwater pools as well.
Travelled end of July with 2 children (8 and 5) for 7 days. If you are after a ‘drop and flop’ holiday and guaranteed weather this is great. It’s a 50 minute transfer from Heraklion airport (in car), so not too far. The check in process is easy and the staff very welcoming. Whilst we had a slight issue with rooms, it was very quickly rectified and we stayed in the newer build beside the aqua park (room 1605). Area round room was quiet but rooms closer to the main area would be noisy. Perfectly adequate room, which we were only in for sleeping and showering to be honest! It is an all inclusive resort which offers lots of good food choice for children and adults alike. You have one night where you can book an à la carte restaurant (4 to choose from - Italian, BBQ, Greek, Asian) and we choose the Asian as it had a specific children’s menu which our kids liked (can be fussy). The water park only has two areas but for young kids it was great. We spent a few hours in the afternoon each day there, but spent most of our time between the main pool and lower pool (both seawater). There is another small chlorine pool which was very busy. The private beach is great and water amazingly clear for snorkeling. We always found a bed as there are 6 areas you can sit (aqua park, main pool, small pool, lower pool, grass area, beach). One plus side is that people do not get up before breakfast and leave towels on sunbeds. Staff go round and check regularly and remove towels etc if not used in an hour. Great to see. The staff are very friendly, as are some of the cats! It has lovely relaxed atmosphere which is what we hoped for. There is entertainment for all ages, but we don’t use kids club as like to do everything as a family. It is very popular with German, Austrian and Dutch, less so English, which in itself is nice. The little village of Panormos is 5-10 minute walk with nice beaches. Thoroughly recommend if you have small kids and aren’t looking for excursions. We did it as a package holiday (flights and transfers from UK included) for around £5k for 4 people for a week. This may seem pricey but it was stress free - which money can’t buy!
Beautiful location. Lovely staff. Great food. Clean. All feels easy.
Maggie is amazing, always so helpful and polite.
