Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. The hotel only met the absolute minimum standards, and I certainly wouldn’t choose to stay here again.
The biggest issue was the manager, who was extremely disrespectful during every interaction we had. On our first arrival, while discussing our room allocation, we were shockingly referred to as “stupid UK people.” This was completely unacceptable, unprofessional, and made us feel unwelcome from the start.
The only positive aspect of our stay was the cleaning staff. They were polite, friendly, and did a good job keeping the rooms clean, which we appreciated.
Unfortunately, the beds were also very uncomfortable, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep.
Overall, between the rude management, uncomfortable beds, and poor customer service, this was a bad experience. The hardworking cleaning staff deserve credit, but they couldn’t make up for the way we were treated by management.
The hotel is lovely and clean the only issue we had was that the manager was down right rude. He was straight up disrespectful on multiple occasions. After misplacing my trainers after check-out, he completely brushed me off. Additionally we agreed with a different member of staff we could keep one of our rooms for the day, the miscommunication between staff was blamed on us and resulted in a higher charge for us. It seems he cannot handle managing a hotel so close to the strip, respect goes both ways and he clearly had never understood that. Otherwise my review would be a 5 star (needed new management asap)
From the moment we entered the hotel it took us 15 minutes to even see a member of staff. When the manager came down to check us in he was EXTREMELY rude to the point I genuinely thought he could be putting on some sort of act or joke. I was there with 5 male friends and from the get go he began immediately insulting us and when we asked what his problem is he let us know he’s more than happy to immediately kick us out and keep our money. His attitude and behaviour was abysmal and by this point all we had done was walk into the hotel and wait ages to see someone. When anyone of us would attempt to speak to him he would tell us to “shut up or leave” and this was still whilst we were attempting to check in, this is when we called him out on his attitude and his threats were made. “You don’t like my attitude? Leave, fck off”. An absolute immature rude man-child, we are paying customers of your shtty hotel, at least give us a slither of respect. We noticed he would only ever do this to male customers and witnessed him acting the same way to other groups of lads. You could practically whisper in your room and he would come up and give you a noice complaint and threaten to kick you out. He needs to be shut down, fired and banned from working in any hospitality roles, it’s a shame because the actual hotel itself wasn’t bad but was completely spoiled by his constant rude immaturity
The location of the hotel is in a good part of the city, practically in the center. Bars are nearby, a shopping center is nearby and buses stop nearby. The road to the sea is quite straight, about 900 m. The service left a double impression, some are unpleasant and keep pointing to some internal rules that this is not allowed, that is not allowed, while the other is pleasant to communicate with. The rooms are small, small enough to store furniture, clothes and things. But they are well managed and maintained. You won't get water or anything else, you have to buy everything. The beds are hard, the metal is covered with plastic, there are no mattresses or padding, and you have to bring your own towels or daily ones from the room. The pool is suitable for swimming, too small for swimming. The territory is compact, well maintained and tidy. There's nothing wrong with the food :( it lacks taste, just like diet light food. Daily choice of fish and meat, and potatoes/rice/pasta. A lot of vegetables, just chopped, practically without spices, although you can add soy or oil or vinegar. Our attention it was clean and tidy - that's all good. We were disappointed with the food, drinks too. The bar has nothing, it's the wrong time, it's something else. Brandy (local) ran out on the first day, beer after a few days. I didn't like that they lied - it will be tomorrow , there is no tomorrow, etc.
A lovely family run hotel that were very friendly and made us feel comfortable. Food was home made offering traditional dishes freshly cooked, rooms where very clean and the pool was also kept well and the sunbeds were washed down regularly, it’s on the outskirts of the old town with lots of tavernas within walking distance. I would definitely use this little gem again
