The Enorme Santanna is a lovely, boho-chic hotel, but a few things are worth knowing before you book. The rooms are spotless & modern. However, if you’re visiting in October, think twice about the swim-up pool; the water was way too cold to actually use, making it more of a decorative feature than a perk & hard to justify the extra cost. The hotel is on a steep hill. Walking to the top rooms is a real pull on the legs, though the chauffeur-driven buggy is a lifesaver. As for dining, the food is tasty but fairly average. My biggest gripe was the indoor restaurant—it feels too enclosed and the acoustics are poor. You hear every scraping chair and clinking fork echoing. On the plus side, drinks are well-priced for a high-end hotel. Why 4 stars instead of 5? The design is 5-star, but the experience has gaps. In my opinion the pools need heating for autumn guests, and the dining room needs acoustic dampening to stop it from feeling like a noisy canteen. Nice private beach area with comfortable loungers & handy beach bar. Town is a great walk of about 1.5 miles to stretch the legs or if that's too much the hotel can order a taxi for about €7 and you're there in 10 minutes. Very quiet in October.
Anna-Maria ist the best! Visit the Spa!
It was amazing, Giannis and Anna-Maria were really good. Greatly recommend Gianni’s for strong massage!
Was such a amazing experience. Thank u so much! :)
This hotel is beautiful however, I was extremely disappointed with my experience, mainly because of how rude and unhelpful the management team were. Instead of making guests feel welcome, they came across as dismissive and lacking in basic customer service.
One of the biggest issues was that they cut off our all-inclusive wristbands at exactly 11:00 am on checkout day, even though we were staying at the hotel for several more hours because our flight had been delayed until later in the day. We had no choice but to remain at the hotel, yet we were no longer allowed to have food or drinks despite having already paid a significant amount for our holiday.
To make matters worse, after the reception staff had already cut off our wristbands, members of management later approached us at the pool and accused us of still having them. They actively came to find us based on incorrect information from the disorganised reception team, which was both embarrassing and frustrating. The lack of communication between staff was clearly not our fault, yet we were made to feel as though we had done something wrong.
A little flexibility and understanding would have gone a long way, especially for guests dealing with delayed flights. Instead, we felt like we were being rushed out and treated as an inconvenience. The poor organisation, rude attitude of the managers, and lack of customer care completely spoiled the end of what should have been a relaxing holiday.
The food is very nice for an all inclusive however the restaurants are hard to get in to meaning we had to eat at 9pm every night despite booking way in advance.
Unfortunately, because of this experience, I would not recommend this hotel and would not choose to stay here again.
