Built to resemble a miniature village and surrounded by olive trees and oleander bushes, this enchanting hotel boasts rustic Cretan architecture, a fantastic seaside location, and traditional hospitality. The hotel is located on the southern coast of Crete by one of the island's longest beaches, and is only eight kilometres from the shops and restaurants of Ierapetra. Rooms are spacious, bright and elegantly decorated with modern amenities and views of the beautiful gardens. The hotel's Cretan tavern is located near the beach, offering stunning views to the Libyan Sea and delightful local cuisine including dishes such as barbequed meats, cheese pies, lamb with artichokes, and fresh sea food. Guests can spend sunny afternoons at the beach, or enjoy a scenic walk organized by the hotel and followed by a picnic on the beach, all on a marvellous seaside holiday in Crete.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Amzaing staff, great accomodation, perfect for a quiet family vacation. The beach is very clean, the seaside restaurant served fantastic food and the rooms were cleaned to a high standard. Lovely boutique hotel and made a welcome change to the nameless big brand chains I usually stay in.
Like all the years we come to the hotel we were happy and glad about the excellent, friendly, personally and helpful service in the hotel. This year in addition we thank you very much for the fast, good and amicable help during the wildfire, where the hotel was evacuated for to days. We are exalted.Thank you for all
Best location (few steps to the beach), marvelous environment with lots of plants, trees (olive, pomegranate, lime), flowers, like in heaven! Very good accommodation (tip: best rooms from 103 to 109), exemplary cleaning provided daily, very quiet place, everything for a wonderful vacation. Very friendly staff and attentive to customer needs. Very good breakfast.
We stayed at this lovely quiet family owned Hotel with exquisite gardens, from the 11th to the 25th June 2026 (room 206). The overwhelming impression we have is just stunningly friendly and helpful staff. We don't mean the usual "Have a nice day " sanitised faux friendliness ;but a genuine welcoming atmosphere. The room was spot on with excellent air con. The pool is perfect for those (like us) who like to swim as opposed to just "messin about" The pebble beach is a perfect spot with excellent swimming and the usual facilities. Comfortable sun beds and umbrellas with waiter service. The food was as good as you can have for this price point. Breakfasts had a great selection including cooked, cold meats, cheeses and a selection of fruits and fabulous Greek pastries and cakes. Evening meals were a good selection of home cooked hot dishes as well as salads and cold meats. The location has excellent little corner shops to fill up the fridge and any obvious beach needs. The Taverna next door is also excellent. The only down side is not using the excellent, beautifully designed lounge area to serve drinks in the evening.
First of all - the Hotel Area and architecture are really impressive. It combines traditional style with modern elements. Then the staf - really frendly, allways laughing, allways helpfull. Third - the kitchen and meals - absolutely perfect - we didn´t have opportunity to complaint. Also the cakes and candy were a masterpeace! But there is something that has to be mentioned - in our room 116, there where no shelfs to put our clothes in, exept some drawers in bedside tables. And one thing more : we would really appreciate a promenade, or just a boardwalk to make a short walk by the sea after the dinner...
