Amazing
What can I say . We had an amazing time here . From the moment we arrived and matteo signed us in . We where upgraded to a twin view room . The was large and had an amazing view also the bed was so comfortable and large . They have tea and coffee in the room and a fridge to store water and anything else we brought . The views at the hotel are one of the best we have every had . The outside restaurant is amazing it looks out over the sea and you can go there for ever meal . Zoe was on hand to help us always found us a seat even in the busy periods . All the staff in the restaurant where amazing and so friendly 😍. By the pool side the bar was run by andreas and he was so friendly always chatty and couldn't do enough to help us . In the evening the night bar was run by costa also amazing service and made my dry martini to perfection every night . The entertainment was good and bad but its a small hotel and they had to get the right balance for all guest. There is a bus station right out side the hotel which we used to get to chinia and was very easy to use . The hotel is in the village of kolyambri which we walked into and played some crazy golf and was in walking distance of a small harbour. The hotel os a small but lovely hotel . It it is not a modern hotel but it ticks all our boxes it is a really lovely greek hotel with the door that some time take a lot to shut 😀. The only thing I would say the alacarte was extra so we didn't go . Also there is a safe in the room but you have to pay extra . Which I dont thing you should do for an all inclusive resort . How ever if you have all inclusive plus these are given to you free plus the mini fridge would be filled as well . This didn't put us of the hotel as we are talking about going back next year . So thank you to all the staff from the house cleaning and chefs bar staff you where all amaxing
If I could give it more than 5 stars I would
It’s our last day tomorrow but we will be back. This is our 4th year here and I can honestly say it’s even better than last year. They have a new chef and the food has gone from 4 star to 5****+++++++ The view is spectacular We went to the alacarte and the octopus was amazing as was everything else I used the spa and George was first class. I nearly didn’t bother as last year the girl was not good. He really was excellent. The best thing about the hotel is the service and the staff they are truly exceptional. Zoe the guest revelation manager is fantastic Anna on reception went out of her way to help us Kostas and Andreas in the bars were such characters and made you feel really special Even our room maid Katarina remembered us and gave me a hug when she saw us A true home from home experience it feels like coming home again We have recommended this hotel to friends and family and will continue to do so Thank you Grand Bay see you next year

Great location on the beach with a bus stop right outside for an enjoyable ride to Chania. Food was good and entertainment of an evening most enjoyable. The staff were friendly and helpful with a big shout out to Zoe for all she did. The room was comfortable and a good size and all the amenities in a good condition and also clean.

Restful resort with amazing staff
Short bus ride to Chania and touristy villages to north , quiet locality. The hotel is relaxed with excellent friendly staff, family vibe almost, food was great. We had great bay view from 232 and far larger balcony than the pool fronted rooms. The beach was easily accessible from sunbeds , would take beach shoes for pebbles, swimming safe, water clear with sandy bottom. I would definitely return should opportunity arise. Room was very pleasant, cleaning staff very friendly and thorough. The entertainment was quite low key, seating area small filled quickly. No noise , slept well , just gentle waves. My partner and daughter both enjoyed spa massages also, thanks all.

Amazing views, amazing staff, amazing experience
Our stay this summer was truly amazing; the hotel offers great relaxation and calmness. We had a wonderful rest with the staff pampering us beyond their actually duty. Zoe was great, she one of the kind, mamanged to make our little (and not so little) worries go away, and so was Mateo in the restaurant that took care our very special requests. I am certainly recommending this resort in Kolimpari village.
