Euphoria Resort

We stayed here for our first family holiday abroad with our 3 and 7 year old. The aesthetics of the hotel can’t be faulted it’s really stunning, room large and the junior suite is great with the sliding door. The pool with the slope is great for children and then goes deep enough with a deeper step in if you’re with older children and want more peace. Plenty of sun beds and no sun bed wars which was appreciated. The cocktails and alcohol were plentiful and lovely. The juice bar was a nice addition. The water slides were a good mix for both my children. We found all staff to be helpful and kind.

Areas that could be improved: The outside area of the pool is very slippery. My youngest fell twice and I saw numerous people slip or newly fall over. And no one was running. The showers are very slippery, both my boys fell over. Could be very dangerous. Although a good variety of food in the buffet the selection for children was very repetitive and limited. We found it odd that no pizza was served in the Italian. My kids struggled to eat there. The Greek is à la carte yet one set menu which was a shame. The à la carte restaurants served very nice wine that you couldn’t get in the rest of the hotel which was a shame as it was very nice.

All in all we would totally recommend and would visit if they had hotels in other countries.

First great service, wonderful team. Rooms are. Big. Hotel and rooms are very clean. Food is good not great Our negative input is mainly regarding the gym where we trained daily, it was too hot and despite repeated requests they couldn’t fix the AC. In addition, our celiac kid was served gluten dishes twice at the Asian restaurant despite us verifying with the team several time Thanks Adam

We had an amazing stay at Euphoria Resort and overall came away very impressed. It is a beautiful resort, exceptionally clean, very well presented and the staff were consistently friendly and welcoming.

We were particularly impressed with the food. As a vegetarian family, we often find that all-inclusive resorts can be quite limited when it comes to vegetarian choices, but Euphoria was excellent in this respect. There was a fantastic variety of dishes and plenty of choice throughout our stay. The housekeeping service was also very efficient, and we were extremely grateful for the complimentary upgrade to a Family Suite, which made our stay even more enjoyable.

That said, there are a number of areas where I think Euphoria could improve if it wants to truly deliver a 5-star ultra-all-inclusive experience.

Food & desserts: The breakfast offering was generally good, although we found it unusual that there was bean soup every morning rather than a more traditional baked bean option. The dessert selection was extensive, but unfortunately desserts weren’t labelled, meaning we had to ask the chef each day which contained nuts or eggs. As a family requiring egg-free options, we also found the range of eggless desserts quite limited, with mousse and sorbet being the main options and very little in the way of eggless cakes.

Family Suite & room amenities: There were a few small details that could have made the room feel more luxurious. We initially had only two pairs of adult slippers despite being a family of four, and when we requested additional pairs there were no children’s sizes. Loofahs also had to be requested rather than being included with the toiletries. There was no drying rack on the balcony, which would have been particularly useful for a family with children, and we would have appreciated some complimentary snacks and soft drinks in the room given the resort’s ultra-all-inclusive positioning.

The tea and coffee facilities in our Family Suite were positioned in the children’s section, so we moved them to the adult side. The layout also meant that the children were at the front of the room, which restricted what we could do once they had gone to sleep. A little more separation between the children’s and adult areas would make the Family Suite even better.

Drinks: We felt that some of the drinks and cocktails at the bars were quite watered down and could have been of a higher standard.

Check-in: After a long journey from the UK with two children, the check-in process felt rather laborious. We had to enter our own passport details and then wait in the lobby for quite some time. I eventually had to return to reception myself to ask for someone to escort us to our room. A more proactive welcome would have made the arrival experience much smoother.

Finally, we found the instruction in the bathrooms not to flush toilet paper down the toilet rather unusual. Understandable not to flush paper towels or sanitary pads but rather odd for toilet paper not to be flushed.

Overall, though, we genuinely loved our holiday. Euphoria is already a fantastic resort with beautiful surroundings, excellent cleanliness, wonderful staff and a particularly impressive food offering for vegetarian guests. With attention to some of these smaller details, I genuinely believe it could become an outstanding 5-star ultra-all-inclusive resort.

We would happily return and hope the resort continues to build on what is already a very good experience.
