Mitsis Rinela

We had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel and were absolutely impressed by the entire resort. The property is beautiful and offers so many different ways to enjoy your holiday. We especially loved the huge variety of food options – from the different restaurants to the various food stands throughout the resort. Even the minibar in the room is included, which we found to be a really nice touch.

Our personal favourites were definitely the crêpe stand and the BBQ stand. Everything we tried was delicious, and we were also very impressed with the à la carte restaurants. Another highlight is the beautiful sea view you can enjoy from so many different areas of the resort.

The staff are incredibly kind, attentive, friendly and accommodating. You really feel completely spoiled during your stay, and it is clear that great importance is placed on providing excellent service.

We would especially like to highlight Rania from the main restaurant. She was incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and felt comfortable. An employee who is this warm, caring and dedicated truly deserves special recognition. We would therefore like to explicitly nominate Rania as “Employee of the Month” – she absolutely deserves it! ❤️

There were only two things that slightly affected our stay. Firstly, there were quite a lot of children at the hotel, which made the pool areas quite lively at times. Secondly, we were not happy with the situation regarding the sun loungers at the pool and on the beach. Many loungers were reserved with towels very early in the morning, meaning that by around 9:30 a.m. it was sometimes almost impossible to find one. During our entire six-day stay, we unfortunately never had the chance to get a lounger by the pool. We would therefore really appreciate it if the hotel could pay more attention to this and prevent guests from reserving loungers for hours with towels.

Apart from these two points, our stay was absolutely wonderful. We felt very comfortable, were spoiled with amazing food and enjoyed every moment of our holiday. We will definitely be coming back! ❤️

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Mitsis Rinela Selection Crete and honestly cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. From the beautiful surroundings and excellent facilities to the fantastic food and incredible service, everything came together to make our holiday truly special.

What really stood out for us, though, was the amazing staff. Everyone we met was friendly, welcoming and genuinely went out of their way to make sure we were having a great time.

A special mention absolutely has to go to Girgos and Aristea at the Theatre Bar. They were both particularly amazing! Their warmth, friendliness, professionalism and fantastic personalities made every visit to the bar something to look forward to. They were always smiling, incredibly attentive and made us feel genuinely welcome. They are a real credit to the hotel and definitely helped make our holiday even more memorable.

It is staff members like Girgos and Aristea who make such a huge difference to a holiday. Their service was exceptional, and we really appreciated all the effort they put into making our evenings enjoyable.

Stayed at the Mitsis Selection Rinela from the 27th of August for 6 nights with my boyfriend. Upon check in with the lovely receptionist, we were greeted with two glasses of Prosecco and our bags brought to our room. The room itself was gorgeous, we had a difficult sleep due to factors outside of the hotel’s control. I spoke with them after breakfast the next morning and the lovely Antonios had us in a sea view room much closer to the main resort. The entire resort was so new, and clean. The restaurants were all incredible, food was delicious and the staff were all so kind and helpful. The atmosphere in each was so relaxing and you never felt rushed. I have never seen a tighter run ship than each of those restaurants! It’s a little busy, as expected, at the loungers during the day, but tipping down at 3pm/3:30pm when most of the families are headed back to get ready for early dinner, you’ll easily get a spot. The beach bbq, pizza and gelateria provided great lunch and snacking options. The drinks in the bars were all delicious and made to order. I cannot begin to say how incredible our week in Mitsis Rinela was! So worth it if you want to spoil yourself for your holiday! The ladies in Zeen spa were also amazing and spoke to us regularly checking on our stay.
