Pleasant peaceful holiday near the sea
We had a pleasant rest , the hotel have good location, near the airport and just couple minutes to the beach which is clean and sandy. The room was big and comfortable, clean and private. We would like to say how is your staff doing great job , always helpful and friendly, especially Elani , Stavros, exceptional service and positive energy which make you feel welcoming, Maria who is the good help with any situations and ladies from the kitchen as well, great teamwork! We are recommending this place who is looking for the peaceful, quiet holiday. Thank you to all

Cozy place with nice staff and good food
We spent here a week and got in general a very positive impression. I can highlight the following advantages:
- Friendly and helpfup staff, that speaks English well. You feel as a welcome guest there.
- A pretty good variety of tasty and healthy food for both breakfast and dinner. We didn't feel the need after to search for restaurants around.
- Spacious rooms (we stayed in a 2+1 room) equipped with a frige and air conditioning.
- Daily cleening, which is especially important in an area with sandy beaches.
- The sea is very close, and there are a couple of nice beaches within walking distance.
- A large supermarket is just a 2-minute walk away.
A few things to keep in mind:
- The hotel has quite a large number of rooms. If you prefer a quieter room, it's worth considering this when making your reservation.
- Airplanes fly over the entire coastline of the resort area, but we got used quite quickly.
- It's a village that you can have small walk along the sea, go to beaches, admire sunset, but not about nightlife or or fancy places.
Overall, this hotel is a good combination of price/quality. I can recommend it both for families and couples.
Best Hotel and Most incredible staff in Crete!!
Home away from home. The staff made this place an unforgettable stay. They made us feel welcome straight away and treated us with absolute kindness. The location is perfect starting point to go explore western, central and southern Crete!! Only 11 minutes away from the airport, meant we didn’t have to worry about leaving super early. Our flight was a late one back and they let use stay, use all that the hotel had to offer and even still have dinner there. Our arrival flight was late too so they made it very very easy to find our rooms. The rooms are simple but very spacious, easy to access and amazing view of the swimming pool! The food was a real highlight as every evening there was something new to eat for dinner. From savoury and sweet. I really enjoyed the selection and variety. Breakfast was nice and light too. This was our first time to crete and I will definitely be going back there when I return. They made you feel like friends coming to visit. You felt warm and welcomed from start to finish. Also did I say that it was only a 2 minute walk away from the beach!!! Lots of local tavernas to eat at near by too and watercity water park is only an 8 minute drive away too!!! We had an itinerary planned out but they made sure we knew if we needed any recommendations or help they were there to do so. Plus they organised a greek bbq and dancing night every Thursday!! It was unforgettable experience.

Great holiday at the Marilisa
We stayed at the Marilisa for two weeks from the 9th June. It is a super small hotel in the centre of the village on the main road but backing on to the beach. It is a very clean and well run hotel with super attentive staff, our room was large with a king size bed a good size bath room and good air conditioning. There is a pool with sun beds and an outside bar. We had continental breakfast which was varied from day to day. It is near a number of restaurants and very handy for the airport. All in all it was great value for money for our kind of holiday.

Very lovely hotel
We have never experienced such hospitality and care from the hotel staff before. We highly recommend this small and cozy Marilisa hotel to anyone who prefers a peaceful vacation and appreciates the proximity to the sea! Behind the hotel is a nice sandy beach where you can admire the beautiful sunset every evening!
