Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
We had a fabulous two week stay at Arina Beach Hotel. The hotel is stylish and clean and in a beautiful beachfront location. It is very family friendly with a hard-working animation team (special thanks to Mona and Oscar who treated our son like a mini celebrity and made his holiday extra special).
The pools are lovely and the splash park was perfect for our four year old. The sea was quite rough most days due to the wind but was a beautiful temperature and shallow so very safe for swimming even with the waves.
There was some pressure on sunbeds and we found that we struggled to get any unless we put our towels down on our way to breakfast which we would rather not do. I think if the hotel enforced their no reservation policy this might help.
The food was outstanding for an all inclusive hotel. It was fresh, hot and perfectly cooked with a huge variety of choice. The a la carte restaurant Avra was exceptionally good and we enjoyed going there for breakfast most days (it is worth upgrading to a room that gives you unlimited access to Avra). We never had to queue and were always able to get our preferred location for a table.
The only downsides for me were 1) there is nowhere nice to walk to close to the hotel and taxis are very expensive (e.g. β¬17 for a two mile journey to the aquarium ) and 2) there was a lot of single use plastics e.g. straws, plastic dessert cups and water bottles. It was disappointing that a hotel of this size was not more environmentally conscious.
I had a massage at Aegeo Spas and it was excellent from start to finish. Eleni was wonderful β professional, attentive and genuinely warm. She understood exactly what my body needed and the pressure was perfect throughout the whole treatment. I left feeling completely renewed, relaxed and refreshed. A really lovely experience, and I can't recommend Eleni highly enough. Thank you!
Can only recommend! Very clean and organized, wonderful for families. We traveled with our 9 month old and he had a cot, the restaurant also made him puress (and some of the cleaners washed his bottles without us asking). We also had a medical emergency and the doctor on site reacted quickly
We came back to Arina Beach Resort after four years, and honestly, the hotel has improved a lot since our last visit.
Everything was very clean, the staff were working incredibly hard, and you could really see how much effort everyone puts into keeping the hotel running smoothly.
We were there at the end of August, so basically at the peak of the season. And yes, there were A LOT of people. At some point, getting a sunbed became a bit of a morning quest. You could start the hunt at 8 a.m. or maybe even a little earlier if you were serious about it π
The restaurant staff were amazing. They quickly remembered how many people were in our family, and somehow everything was always happening at the same time: bringing things, clearing tables, helping guests. Super hardworking people!
A special mention to Oscar from the animation team. Definitely one of the brightest and most positive people in the hotel. Always full of energy and good vibes!
Also, a big thank you to the reception team for the personal approach. It really felt like they were trying to find the best solution for us instead of just giving a standard answer.
Overall, this is one of those hotels you actually want to come back to. This was definitely not our first visit, and definitely not our last. β€οΈ
Amazing treatment at the spa! Dina was fantastic, very intuitive to my needs and wellbeing. Products smell devine. Would highly recommend to anyone staying at the Arina Hotel to book a treatment at the spa. Thankyou ladies.
