Zeus Village

Beautiful hotel, immaculately clean, friendly & helpful staff. Great breakfast. Highly recommend

Me and my best friend had a wonderful stay at Zeus Holiday Resort and would happily return. The resort has a lovely, family-run feel, creating a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere from the moment we arrived. All of the staff were exceptionally friendly, fun, attentive and genuinely eager to ensure guests enjoyed their stay. Our room was modern, spotlessly clean and well maintained throughout our visit. The beds were very comfortable, and the bathroom was perfectly adequate and equipped with everything we needed. Our room had a kitchenette, fridge and coffee machine.

Food The food was a real highlight of our stay. The breakfast offering was fresh and enjoyable each morning, with a good variety of options. One small suggestion would be to expand the range of non-dairy choices, perhaps including coconut yoghurt and oat or almond milk for coffees. The pool bar serves excellent food at lunchtime, and we particularly appreciated that meals could be brought directly to our sunbeds or enjoyed in the restaurant area. The quality was consistently good and made relaxing by the pool even more enjoyable. For evening dining, there are several excellent restaurants within walking distance of the resort. A special mention goes to Sciroccos, which stood out for both its food, atmosphere and evening sunsets overlooking the beach. This became one of our favourite places to eat.

Facilities The facilities are beautifully maintained and contribute significantly to the peaceful atmosphere of the resort. The pool areas and gardens are absolutely stunning, offering plenty of space to relax without feeling crowded. The comfortable sunbeds and tranquil surroundings made it very easy to unwind. The beach is also just a short walk away (15mins) and can be reached easily without any difficulty, making it convenient to enjoy both the pool and the sea during your stay.

Transport & Local Area Getting around was simple and affordable. The local bus stop is only a short walk from the hotel, and regular buses into Chania town centre are inexpensive and easy to use. This made exploring the area straightforward without the need for a car. The resort is also well positioned for local amenities, with local supermarkets, and with a number of lovely restaurants and attractions within walking distance.

Overall Zeus Holiday Resort is a relaxing, well-run resort with excellent staff, beautiful grounds and a genuine family-run charm. We would like to thank the owner and management team for making our stay so enjoyable and stress-free. Myself and my friend left feeling refreshed, relaxed and already thinking about a return visit. We had a lovely stay at Zeus Village in Chania and would happily recommend it. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming throughout our stay, always helpful and keen to make sure everything was just right. The breakfast was also a real highlight — a great selection each morning.

The hotel itself is really well kept, with a relaxed atmosphere and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It’s in a handy location for exploring Chania and the surrounding area, and overall we had a really enjoyable time here.

The only thing I’d mention for future guests is to pay attention to the room location when booking if you’re a light sleeper, as our room was on the main road and there was some traffic noise. It didn’t spoil our stay, but if we returned we’d definitely choose a room away from the road.

Overall though, a really enjoyable stay with excellent staff and a fantastic breakfast — thank you to everyone at Zeus Village for looking after us so well.
