Could possibly be one of our best holidays yet, and I have been to a fair few countries and destinations both in Europe, Greece and the rest of the world. The service and staff were outstanding from start to finish. Nothing short of perfect customer service but in an unintrusive and helpful way. Always happy to help or attend to your needs.
Plenty of sunloungers round the two pools and the private beach area and very comfy ones at that.
Everything is so clean, fresh towels and bed linen every day. The grounds and hotel is immaculate and smells divine.
The food was delicious. Although not much option on the evening menu and the menu stayed the same for the whole 10 days. Limited for vegetarians so we ate out most nights but plenty of places to go to eat.
Great quiet location with enough little shops and restaurants to get to on foot but Chania only about 15 mins in a taxi or bus and very easy to get to.
Rooms gorgeous and well designed, if a little small, and very little space for clothes to hang or put away. I would say however you really don’t need to take much as all towels provided, separate ones for pools, beach and showering. Shampoos, conditioners, shower wash and body lotion all wonderful there so really no need to take your own. And honestly it wasn’t a problem as you don’t spend huge amounts of time in the room anyway.
So many extra touches. Lots of little gifty bits to take home. I had my birthday when we were there and the team went out of their way to help celebrate. We came back to the room from the pool and I had balloons on the bed a gorgeous cake and a bottle of champagne in the room.
Highly recommend. First class service.
Amazing hotel. The staff are fantastic. The food delicious and the sunbeds comfortable and plentiful. Upgraded on last day to sea view room with private pool which was amazing.
What an experience. My wife and 16 year old son visited this hotel for 10 days, as it's adults only and they allow 16 year olds so we booked it. There's a lot of little gold nugget surprises they do when you get there which I wont spoil - just go and experience it. I'll try and keep it brief so you have the facts: Hotel : Immaculate, very trendy, totally relaxed Room : So smart, well maintained, perfect aircon Staff : Met with a smile wherever and whenever you talk to them Pool : Cant be beaten, quiet with cool mood music and staff only too helpful Bar : Exceptional, great team, more drinks selection then you can imagine Poolside Food : Press a buzzer and they take your order and bring it to you Beach : Beautiful, private, loads of beds Pool Beds : You wont need to get up early to grab beds, there'll be loads available Breakfast : Wow - go and see Evening Meal : Top class food, treated like royalty and done start me on the wine
I don't think this place can be beaten in my opinion for all I've given here, the only down side is at some point you have to leave and return home. Stop scrolling for a holiday and book this
We visited the hotel as external guests using the day pass, and we had an absolutely amazing experience. If you're looking for a place to relax and enjoy a peaceful day during your vacation, Domes Noruz is definitely worth visiting.
A very special thank you goes to Efi, who welcomed us from the very first moment. She took the time to explain how the day pass works, gave us a tour of the hotel, and made us feel genuinely welcome. Thanks to her outstanding hospitality, we decided not only to come back for another day pass, but also to book our vacation here for next year!
Efi truly is an asset to the company. She even gave us her personal phone number in case we needed anything during our holiday, despite the fact that we were not staying at the hotel. That level of care and dedication is something you rarely find.
Everything was exceptional—from the facilities to the atmosphere and the service. We will never forget the two wonderful days we spent at Domes Noruz.
Recently returned form this hotel after spending two weeks at the venue. Due to limited characters will try and fit it all in -
Good - nice beach and great sunsets Close to Chania - fabulous town and great restaurants Topos restaurant - very good Raw bar - nice place for evening drink watching sunset Room amenities were adequate, great shower, bed very comfortable and beautiful linen. Great gym inside and outside Restaurant, bar and cleaning staff were fabulous. Tean and coffee machine was good but had to phone reception for it to be restocked on numerous occasions. Birthday cake and bottle in room. Sunbeds are very comfortable. The place is kept very clean. Balcony pool is a nice touch, small but no privacy.
Not good - Worst reception area to a hotel ive ever visited. Library where half board guests get snacks, is in a dungeon, underground with no windows, not enough seating, the food was not restocked adequately and the additional evening drinks were adequate, nothing special. Definitely not worth the upgrade. Any use of the spa is an additional cost even the pool. The evening entertainment was poor for a 5 star hotel, with the same ones on a weekly repeat. The rooms were certainly not big enough for 4 people, just the two of us felt cramped. There was seating both inside and out but nothing reclining to chill and snooze. Mini bar had no price list, which we found to be extortionate on departure and we were charged for items tht we did not take.
Worst - our welcome text message was received a day prior to our deprture, Our packge included a free mixology class and one free a la carte meal which we did not receive. Our initial reception at the hotel was not good as we were rudely spoken to by one of the managers (Blonde hair) as she clearly believed that we had never stayed in a 5 star hotel before. Similarly a day befor departure we were spoken to by another femle manager (dark hair) and as we explained our disapponting review to her she got defensive and told us that we could not give anything below 9 or 10 score.
Overall after waiting a year to visit the hotel, sadly we returned home with a sour taste in our mouths. Those of you considering this hotel would know that it is not cheap, but sadly we can go somewhere else next time. If you decide to go, I would advise staying on a bed and breakfast basis and trying the vast choice of restaurants that are available with some treat nights at the hotel.
