A very under rated hotel.
My wife and I stayed here for a week in May 2025. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, always friendly and helpful. The beer is a local beer but very gassy. Spirits were local non branded but very nice with very generous servings. The food was always good, we never went hungry. The only downside was our room was right opposite the lift, and inconsiderate people would let the door slam. 3 star rated but it far outweighed expectations. Luigi in the main bar is an Absoloute legend. We would happily return and stay here.
A lovely stay with great food!
We stayed here for a week long all inclusive trip and had a great time.
Bear in mind this is not a 5 star hotel, so we felt we did get value for money with the price we paid.
The pool area was nice - it's been updated since the photos and looks great. There was always room to sit. Small issue is that the pool attracted a lot of flies. Not the end of the world but it wasn't netted daily. If you left a net then we'd have been happy to save the flies!
There was a good mix of food, we are vegetarian and vegan so are used to eating similar foods each day. The majority of food was labelled clearly which helped, but some improvements here would help.
We stayed on the 5th floor and were the only ones there. We did report the faulty hallway light but this was not fixed. We had an amazing balcony with a fab view. To make this even better please put beds up there!
The room cleaning was not that consistent. It was missed one day and crisps that had been spilt in the balcony were just pushed into a pile rather than swept up.
It's a great location for access to the beach, not far from the airport. Also near lots of shops and restaurants.
It's a short taxi (or 40 min walk) to the old town, which is worth a visit.
Our flight back was late and we were allowed to use the all inclusive all day which was great. There isn't a room to freshen up though.
Overall we did have a great time, staff all super friendly and we very much enjoyed ourselves. As long as you go with the right expectations, you'll have a great time.
It deserves to be on the list for a successful vacation!
Very good accommodation, varied and tasty food (All inclusive), cleanliness (hotel, restaurant, swimming pool), friendly staff, central location, almost anything you want, a hotel in full swing, through the investments that are visible and continue to be made! The price was very good! I will return to this hotel with great pleasure, it deserves to be on the list for a successful vacation!
Book superior, your holiday will be perfect!
The first room I was allocated was a prison cell with a non-functioning shower. I assume it's the room they chuck solo travellers in, because the bigger standard rooms looked absolutely fine when I peaked in when the doors were open for cleaning! The shower was fixed the next morning, and I was upgraded two days later (had to pay, but it was worth it!). I've included photos so you can see, but...
...once upgraded, it was an absolutely PERFECT holiday. You should ABSOLUTELY book the superior room. It's not that much more, but the room is incredibly beautiful, bed way comfier, facilities are better, and they are brand new rooms (May 2026).
The bars, pool area, and restaurant are gorgeous. Everything is spotless, comfortable, and so relaxing. The food is a bit samey, but very good. The coffee great, way better than most AI machines!! Drinks selection is great. The staff are all very lovely.
The location is also great, central to everything, including bus stops for Iraklio/Agios Nikolos.
All in all I would very much recommend this hotel, but as I say, book a superior room and your holiday will be luxurious and sooooo relaxing!

We checked in, saw the hotel, checked out again in 15 min.
We checked in, saw the room, dining area and pool, and checked out again within 15 minutes. Most of that time was spent speaking with the hotel and Hotels.com.
The hotel we arrived at looked nothing like the one advertised. At the time of booking, the listing only showed photos of what appeared to be newly renovated rooms, an attractive pool area, and appealing food. In reality, we found an old, worn-out room, dirty towels, and a very small pool that looked nothing like the photos.
Before leaving, I spoke with the hotel manager and explained that the property was significantly different from what had been advertised. He told me this was a “common misunderstanding” and assured me that if the hotel had been misrepresented, a refund would be issued.
Since then, Hotels.com has repeatedly tried to contact the hotel by phone and email without success. Their lack of response has only added to the frustration.
Interestingly, after our complaint, the hotel updated its listing with photos of the “standard” rooms. However, based on our experience, even those new photos do not accurately reflect the actual condition of the rooms.
I strongly recommend booking another hotel nearby. The difference between the advertised property and the actual experience was so significant that we chose to leave immediately and find alternative accommodation.
