Very good accommodation, varied and tasty food (All inclusive), cleanliness (hotel, restaurant, swimming pool), friendly staff, central location, almost anything you want, a hotel in full swing, through the investments that are visible and continue to be made! The price was very good! I will return to this hotel with great pleasure, it deserves to be on the list for a successful vacation!
The first room I was allocated was a prison cell with a non-functioning shower. I assume it's the room they chuck solo travellers in, because the bigger standard rooms looked absolutely fine when I peaked in when the doors were open for cleaning! The shower was fixed the next morning, and I was upgraded two days later (had to pay, but it was worth it!). I've included photos so you can see, but...
...once upgraded, it was an absolutely PERFECT holiday. You should ABSOLUTELY book the superior room. It's not that much more, but the room is incredibly beautiful, bed way comfier, facilities are better, and they are brand new rooms (May 2026).
The bars, pool area, and restaurant are gorgeous. Everything is spotless, comfortable, and so relaxing. The food is a bit samey, but very good. The coffee great, way better than most AI machines!! Drinks selection is great. The staff are all very lovely.
The location is also great, central to everything, including bus stops for Iraklio/Agios Nikolos.
All in all I would very much recommend this hotel, but as I say, book a superior room and your holiday will be luxurious and sooooo relaxing!
We checked in, saw the room, dining area and pool, and checked out again within 15 minutes. Most of that time was spent speaking with the hotel and Hotels.com.
The hotel we arrived at looked nothing like the one advertised. At the time of booking, the listing only showed photos of what appeared to be newly renovated rooms, an attractive pool area, and appealing food. In reality, we found an old, worn-out room, dirty towels, and a very small pool that looked nothing like the photos.
Before leaving, I spoke with the hotel manager and explained that the property was significantly different from what had been advertised. He told me this was a “common misunderstanding” and assured me that if the hotel had been misrepresented, a refund would be issued.
Since then, Hotels.com has repeatedly tried to contact the hotel by phone and email without success. Their lack of response has only added to the frustration.
Interestingly, after our complaint, the hotel updated its listing with photos of the “standard” rooms. However, based on our experience, even those new photos do not accurately reflect the actual condition of the rooms.
I strongly recommend booking another hotel nearby. The difference between the advertised property and the actual experience was so significant that we chose to leave immediately and find alternative accommodation.
We had a lovely stay in Sergio’s hotel for a week! Great location in Hersonissos as it is so close to the beach. Staff were so friendly, room tidied everyday with fresh towels and overall atmosphere is lovely there. Food was amazing and there was always different options each day. We loved the fruit platters that were available all day and of course the ice cream to cool down! All inclusive drinks were great too even including some cocktails. Pool area is nice and relaxed and we never had a problem getting loungers at any time of the day. Loungers were so comfortable and pool was nice to cool down in. Sometimes the flies went into the pool but these things happen. We were originally booked somewhere else but Love Holidays informed us that we would be staying here as a replacement hotel. We were a little apprehensive about it as some recent reviews weren’t very nice about the rooms etc but we really believe this hotel is amazing! Highly recommend staying here ❤️
Unfortunately, this hotel was quite disappointing and definitely does not live up to a 4-star rating. In my opinion, it is more like a 2–3 star hotel.
The hotel itself is quite old and the grounds are very small. The standard rooms are especially disappointing — very basic, outdated and uncomfortable, almost like a prison cell. The larger two-room accommodation is much better, but of course you have to pay extra for it. The room shown on the pictures is the one you need to pay extra for
The food was another big disappointment. It was very repetitive, with very little choice. Usually there were only two meat options, the breakfasts were poor, and overall the food quality was closer to a 2-star hotel. Occasionally there was something tasty, but it was very hit-or-miss.
The hotel is reasonably clean in the common areas, but the housekeeping in the rooms was terrible. Even after cleaning, we kept finding hair around the room. Everything feels old and worn out, and the rooms are definitely in need of renovation.
As for the staff, it was mixed. Some members of staff were genuinely lovely, friendly and kind, while others were simply okay.
The alcohol selection was also extremely disappointing. The quality and choice of drinks were very poor and definitely not what you would expect from a hotel advertised as four stars.
The nearby beaches are also a major downside. They are not particularly clean, and you have to pay extra for sunbeds. One of the beaches has cleaner water, but it is extremely rocky, which makes getting into the sea quite painful and uncomfortable. The other beach has fewer rocks and easier access to the water, but unfortunately there is a lot of seaweed and it feels dirty. If you want a genuinely nice and comfortable beach, you will need to travel further away from the hotel.
The location itself is convenient in the sense that this is a city hotel and there is a bus stop nearby, so getting around is relatively easy. However, if you are coming here mainly for a beach holiday, I really don’t see the advantage of staying at this hotel. There are no really good beaches within comfortable walking distance, so you will most likely have to travel elsewhere anyway.
Overall, I would not consider this a 4-star experience at all. Based on the rooms, food, housekeeping, facilities and drinks, I would personally rate it around 2–3 stars.
