Beautiful hotel for a relaxing holiday
My husband and I visited in June to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. We stayed in an Aqua marine suite which we chose as it was on the seafront with a fabulous view directly out to the beach, it also had a huge gym and a whirlpool and also a huge walk in wardrobe. The room was fabulous the bed very comfortable, the room was also quiet and spotlessly clean. The service at the hotel was very good, we had a couple of minor issues which were addressed immediately and in an excellent manner. The food was exquisite, I loved that there was a musician playing over breakfast, the small touches were what made this a stand out hotel. For us it was the perfect week to completely relax, it was never busy although fully booked, there was a lot of space so nowhere was crowded, if you want a quiet relaxing holiday it’s perfect. The only downside was there are only 2 restaurants for evening meals which we rotated over 7 nights so it can get a bit samey but the food is amazing. We had one bug bare whilst we were there which was quite irritating, the hotel invited a group of “influencers” from the uk to stay for free for 2 days whilst we were there, they got everywhere, taking photos at breakfast, on the beach parading about , they were loud and very in your face. We paid a lot of money to stay and to see all the attention the influencers were getting over paying guests was very frustrating. The hotel should bare this in mind when funding influencer stays as guests go to this hotel for a quiet and private holiday.
Great experience at Nana Princess
We had a lovely stay at Nana Princess with our 17-month-old daughter as we celebrated our 5 year anniversary. We stayed in a room with a private pool, heated to 28°C, which felt comfortable for swimming. It did get chilly when we got out on windy days, though!
The staff were all so friendly. Sofia at reception, Dimitris the service manager, and several of the restaurant staff remembered our daughter’s name and would say hello whenever they saw her. Even the staff at the beach knew her name. Those little things made us feel very welcome.
The food was delicious in every restaurant we tried, with plenty of things our daughter could eat too. We also really enjoyed having room service and relaxing in our room. Whenever we needed a buggy ride, it was easy to arrange.
We had heavy rain during the first few days, so we didn’t get to enjoy much of the hotel’s outdoor space. Once the sun came out, we spent time relaxing on the beach, which was lovely.
Travelling with a toddler can be tiring, but we felt very comfortable and well looked after here. We had such a happy stay and would happily recommend Nana Princess to our friends.

A true 10/10 experience — so amazing we extended our holiday by another 5 days!
Nana Princess is simply exceptional. We had an absolutely amazing family holiday, and I can confidently say this is one of the best resorts we have ever stayed at. A genuine 10 out of 10 in every way.
The property itself is stunning — a perfect example of true quiet luxury. Everything feels peaceful, elegant, beautifully maintained and exclusive, without ever feeling pretentious.
We travelled as a family of four (two adults and two children) and upgraded to the Iagan Princess Villa, an enormous and absolutely stunning three-floor villa. It made an already special holiday even more memorable.
What really makes this resort exceptional, though, is the staff. From the buggy drivers and reception team to the concierge, beach bar staff, and everyone at the Eternal Blue and Meeting Point restaurants — every single person we encountered was genuinely friendly, helpful, always smiling and willing to go the extra mile.
The concierge team also created a dedicated WhatsApp chat for us, which made arranging everyday things incredibly easy and convenient. Housekeeping deserves special recognition as well. The villa was cleaned beautifully, and the evening turndown service was a particularly welcome touch when travelling with young children.
The combination of Nana Princess and Nana Golden Beach is absolutely brilliant for families.
While Nana Princess offers a peaceful, sophisticated and luxurious atmosphere for the adults, right next door is Nana Golden Beach — a true paradise for children, with fantastic facilities and activities.
A massive shout-out to the entire kids’ club and animation team at Nana Golden Beach! Our children had the most wonderful time. They loved it so much that, now that we’re back home, we’re actually having some trouble getting them back into their normal routine! That probably says more about how good the experience was than anything else I could write.
And perhaps the biggest compliment I can give this resort is what happened on our supposed last day.
We simply didn’t want to leave. So we rebooked our flights and extended our holiday by another FIVE days!
That is something we certainly hadn’t planned, but the entire experience was just too good to end.
We have been visiting Crete for many years, returning to another well-known resort year after year. But after discovering Nana Princess, I genuinely feel that we have found something on an entirely different level.
I’m already planning our next visit in May, and Nana Princess has officially become our new go-to resort for our annual holidays in Crete.
Thank you to the entire Nana Princess and Nana Golden Beach teams for such an unforgettable experience. We cannot wait to return!

From the moment we arrived until the very last minute, everything was absolutely perfect. The hotel is breathtakingly beautiful, the cleanliness is exceptional, and the attention to every little detail is simply outstanding.
What made our stay truly special was the incredible staff. Everyone was so kind, welcoming, professional, and genuinely caring. They made us feel valued, comfortable, and truly special throughout our entire stay.
The service, the atmosphere, the beautiful rooms, and the amazing hospitality exceeded all our expectations.
We enjoyed every single moment, and honestly, we were so happy that we didn’t want our stay to end!
