We stayed here with our family during the second week of October. The lobby and bar area were nice and gave a good first impression, but unfortunately, almost everything else was outdated, broken, or poorly maintained. The hotel may tick all the bureaucratic boxes to qualify as a four-star property, but in reality, it feels more like a two- or three-star hotel if you look a little closer.

The food was repetitive and oily, and the all-inclusive drinks were of the cheapest quality. We booked a “villa with a private pool,” but the reality was quite different. It was actually just one part of a villa, either the upper or lower floor, with a designated pool and very little privacy. The neighboring units were not separated in any meaningful way, so there was nothing particularly private about the pool.

The hotel is close to the beach, but getting there is inconvenient. You either have to cross a road, which can be tricky, or crawl through a maintenance tunnel that is barely 1.2 metres high. On the other side of the hotel, there is a wasteland, and if you stay in one of the villas, you are also very close to a construction site where the sound of jackhammers can make relaxing difficult. Another resort is located behind the wasteland, and despite being roughly half a mile away, the noise from its parties was clearly audible through the thin walls and windows. Not exactly the peaceful holiday atmosphere you would expect.

The staff were friendly, polite, and willing to accommodate our needs, which was definitely a positive. However, the maintenance situation seems inadequate, as there appears to be only one person handling repairs, and he seems overworked and possibly lacking the resources or skills needed to keep everything in proper condition. The rooms themselves are tired and worn, the furniture is old, the grout between the floor tiles is dirty, and one of the TVs in our room did not work. There were also ants in the room, but instead of dealing with the problem properly, they were simply swept away during daily cleaning. When it rained during our stay, water also made its way into the room through the gap beneath the front door, which was approximately 2 cm high. This is another example of the poor maintenance that seems to be a recurring issue throughout the property.

Cleanliness was another disappointment. The floors were swept or washed daily, but after washing them, the cleaner would walk across the already-cleaned floor in outdoor shoes, which rather defeats the purpose. Dusting also seemed to be largely neglected, as surfaces above approximately one metre were apparently not cleaned at all. There was a significant buildup of dust on almost every horizontal surface at that height. Overall, the housekeeping standards left a lot to be desired.

On the positive side, the lobby and bar area were pleasant, the staff were nice, and parking on the hotel grounds was free, although spaces could sometimes be limited. Unfortunately, these positives do not make up for the many shortcomings. The hotel looks better at first glance than it actually is, and while it may officially be rated four stars, the outdated rooms, poor maintenance, questionable cleanliness, repetitive food, cheap drinks, lack of privacy in the so-called private pool villas, and noise from the surrounding area make it difficult to justify that rating. There is potential here, but significant improvements are needed. Based on our experience, I would rate it closer to a two- or three-star hotel than a four-star resort.

Location was perfect everything walking distance. Rooms was basic but clean. Cleaning was done on a daily basis and housekeeper was friendly. Food was okay ish I am gluten so there were many options and would like to see ingredients listed i did had the option of ask the chefs to make me something if I wanted but didn't. The restaurant was clean and staff were very professional could do with a bit of smiling 😃. Restaurant layout could be better very cramped when it full. Lack of entertainment was disappointing especially when the weather was bad. The bar staff was fabulous very knowledgeable and friendly the place was always tidy and make sure that everyone was happy.The swimming pools was very clean and tidy around it. Overall not to bad .
