Only 200 meters from the nearest beach, Arminda Hotel and Spa is an all-inclusive 4-star hotel located in Hersonissos, Crete. The complex features a variety of water elements: 3 large salt-water pools, 2 separate children's pools, a small water park as well as a splash area.
The two types of rooms (double and family) are all equipped with A/C units, 32'' Flat-screen satellite TV, safe, kettle set, refrigerator and a balcony or terrace with pool, Cretan Sea or land views. Each private bathroom is equipped with a hairdryer and a bathtub or shower.
Guests at Arminda can enjoy meals in buffet style, at our main restaurant. A variety of drinks and snacks are served at the pool-side Snack bar or at the Votsalo bar.
Sport facilities includes 3 Padel courts and Padel equipment (for a fee), mini-golf, basketball half court, giant outdoor chess, billiards (for a fee), table tennis, outdoor gym as well as a renovated fitness room. A playground and a kids club is also provided for young guests.
Massage, nail, face and body therapies, hamam, sauna and hydro massage tub are available at the SPA center.
Arminda Hotel and SPA is located 2 km from the center of Hersonissos center and 30 km from Heraklion Port. Nikos Kazantzakis International Airport is at 27 km. Free private parking is available at the premises of the hotel.

Fantastic spa day on holiday
I arrived at the Arminda hotel and spa on Saturday the 29th of August and on Sunday I booked myself and my fiancee for an afternoon spa the following day. My therapist was Maria S. My spa day started with a 30 minutes relaxation in the wet room where the access is private just to oneself and where there is a reasonable sized sauna, a nice steam room, a large pool with room temperature water to cool down and a shower with 4 different settings. After 30 minutes Maria came and took me for my deep tissue massage. The treatment starts with a whole body scrub - you have 4 different choices for this(mocha, jasmine, coconut and rose). After that you are invited to take a shower and then the deep tissue massage takes place. Maria S. is extremely professional and knowledgeable and managed to get me fully relaxed by the end of my massage session. I truly enjoyed my half spa day and was ready to start the holiday fully relaxed. As a result of that, I booked at the end of my holiday another half spa day. The hotel and facilities are amazing and we are already planning to go back again next year.
Simply fantastic
We had such a wonderful stay at this lovely hotel and can highly recommend it! The rooms are beautiful and comfortable, the staff are friendly and welcoming, and the pool areas are absolutely fantastic. The location is also great, and the beach just below the hotel is extremely child-friendly.
The all-inclusive selection is very good, with plenty of choices when it comes to drinks, snacks and delicious food in the restaurant.
A special mention has to go to the amazing animation team. They do such a fantastic job of creating a fun and friendly atmosphere throughout the day, with lots of great activities for both children and adults. The mini disco was a huge hit with the kids, and the evening entertainment was genuinely impressive and of a very high quality.
All in all, we had a fantastic holiday. It is a truly lovely hotel with a wonderful atmosphere, and we would definitely be happy to come back again. ❤️

Summer vacation 2026
Animation Team was the best part! They really give all their heart! Food was great quality and variety. All rooms and facilities were clean! All in all a perfect vacation. Especially with kids!
An amazing stay - greatly recommend!
Our stay at the Arminda Hotel was superb. Its situated in a quiet area, with some neighbouring hotels. The hotel has shared beach access via a second resort, which is a sandy beach. Touristy spots are a brisk walk away, around 20 minutes.
The hotel itself was comfortable, in all ways. The room was well equipped to our family of four, with a air conditioning unit per room, and a fridge, kettle, and massive wardrobes. The hotel has a well thought out relaxation pool, allowing a quiet area to relax.
Additionally, the hotel staff always made us feel welcome - especially the receptionists, restaurant attendants, housekeepers and the very nice lade at the Greek corner. Our whole family was delighted with the homemade ice tea and coffee. We were blown away by their kindness.
The food was always delicious thanks to the hard work of the chefs, and the selection was vast - so everyone could enjoy something they truly loved. Themed nights happened 4 times a night, with cuisines like Greek, Italian and TexMex. The all inclusive was always open throughout the day, with snack bars, waffle/ ice cream stands and drink bars open. Their food was also great, and the staff was very kind too.
The animation team was often hosting some sort of event, to help people ease in the atmosphere. Their kindness was even felt by us, who didn't take part much. Also, the fitness room (bookable for free) was great, with working equipment and effective air conditioning. The teen's club was great for us too, with a modern interior.
Housekeeping was thorough, and gave us a nice feeling with their fun towel designs. Their work was always brilliant and we couldn't be more thankful.
Additionally, the spa and massage service was a great use to us. Rafaella and colleagues were very nice, and the massages were extremely relaxing and useful.
Many thanks to the staff at Arminda for accommodating us so well, and we hope to return soon!
Simply amazing
We had the most amazing week at the Arminda Hotel and Spa. Hotel is immaculately clean with the most friendly staff giving it a real family feel. Our teenagers - 16 and 13 - had the best time taking part in volleyball, football, water polo, darts, paddel, basketball and shuffleboard - and these were only some of the activities on offer. Huge thanks to the amazing Alessio and Lenny for leading the activities with such enthusiasm and encouraging them to take part. Staff across the site friendly and helpful. Food and drink both excellent and everything ran efficiently - always tables available in the restaurant/ bars and always sunbeds available. Room overlooking the pool was beautiful and cleaned daily. Can’t find anything to fault - would highly recommend and hope to return .
