Dom was an excellent home base in Heraklion for visiting surrounding areas (and the city itself too). It was just small enough so it still felt personable but large enough to have good services (full breakfast selection, bar, gym, etc.). Its location is superb--it's only a short walk to the old town and harbor, and the many restaurants nearby. On the inside it is a modern hotel and very functional, spacious and comfortable. It was good value overall. Staff was friendly and very helpful.
Very nice hotel , I advise everyone to stay there
Highly recommend. Staff very helpful and friendly, perfect location for everything in Heraklion, rooms very nice. The included Breakfast is standout as one of the best I’ve ever had.
Wonderful experience Thanks
Modern, bright, crisp and clean! And perfectly located in Heraklion close to many great restaurants and city center. Absolutely stellar breakfast buffet. The only downside is that they had switched the HVAC to heat and rooms were uncomfortably hot. The solution was to open up the balcony door, as thermostats couldn’t be adjusted. Having the balcony door open was noisy until about 11 pm (weekend) , but fine after that. No street noise is door was closed. Hotel was able to arrange airport transfers for our small group, even when there was a farmers’ strike that blocked direct access to the airport.
