We are ideally located in the tranquil resort of Kato Gouves, 600m away from a sandy beach and very close in walking distance from shops, restaurants and bars.
CretAquarium, the International Exhibition Center of Crete and the picturesque village of Gouves are accessible within walking distance or a short drive. The Cretan Golf Club and two of the largest water parks are only a short drive away from our properties. Heraklion city, appox. 17 km. Our Hotels are easily accessed from Heraklion Intern. airport (14 km) and Heraklion port (17 km). Additionally taxi, car rental service is offered and the local bus station is only 150 m away from the hotel.

Me and my partner have really enjoyed staying at the hotel. The atmosphere was very chilled out and relaxed. We had a swim up pool room. From our own experience we cant fault the hotel. Room was cleaned every day of our 9 night stay, we ate at the hotel restaurant everyday as we were half board. There were some food items that were repeated but always some form of variation and different foods depending on the night. Restaurant staff were very attentitive and polite. Nena in particular was very welcoming and always happy to help 😁 the beach is around a 10 minute walk from the hotel or a free shuttle is available. WiFi around the hotel wasn't always the best however we spend very little time on our phones on holiday so I wouldnt say that was a personal issue to us. I wouldnt say noise was particularly an issue either. The area we stayed in was relatively quiet throughout the day and throughout the night. Overall, weve had a fab holiday and will most likely be returning in the future.

A fabulous stay with my wife for 10 nights. The staff are very friendly helpful and seems happy to be there. Huge shout out to the cleaning staff who do an amazing job. We have been to the aelius hotel 3 time and booked our 4th time in July 2027. We did go to the new restaurant Aseana the food was fabulous even if the portions size might need to be reviewed also maybe the menu could state if the starters are for sharing. Also we would like to point out how well and how dedicated the trainee waiters/waitress were. We're looking forward to seeing you again in July with better weather.
My sensus hurts from this experience.
If you love pork chops 7 days a week, this is the place for you. All inclusive is not all inclusive, it’s inclusive of there sub standard drinks, anything which isn’t bordering poison is charged as an extra. Reception staff are rude, manager is cut from the same cloth. The apple does never fall from the tree. The bar is open till 1am but it’s quiet time from 11, whispering is essential or they will threaten to call the police on you. Please bear in mind this hotel does not value customer service and will threaten you with the police after the initial conversation.
I would of rather been anywhere in the world than this hotel (active war zones not excluded)
In short save your money, go to any other hotel. It will be money well saved.
Amazing
Amazing ! Nothing bad to say, we stayed in the sensus part of the hotel, the swim up rooms everyone also had amazing things to say about the hot tub rooms, the restaurants on site are lovely. We also booked breakfast to the room which was 20 euros per person and you got absolutely loads of food for the price . They also brought a full cake to the room for my birthday and gave me a free desert at one of the restaurants. All staff are amazing especially Georgia in customer relations and Stevio at the bar. Nothing bad to say, definitely try out the restaurant next door to the hotel shop :)
Hotel and massage review
Hotel was nice, pretty and not soo isolated has I initially thought. Had all the amenities that was needed. I had a really good massage experience with Mike. Would definitely recommend it.
