Solimar Aquamarine hotel is superbly situated on the western coast of Crete Island, near Chania, only a feet away of the mostly sandy beach of Pirgos Psilonerou.The Hotel consists of 104 Rooms. it was good we had such a great time
location was perfect, the sunsets were amazing, hotel was great we loved it so much
Nice hotel, bit remote.
Lovely hotel and wonderful staff! All so helpful and friendly. Our room was clean and had a great view of the sea and the mountains. The roof bar is lovely however could do with more entertainment as there is not much within walking distance so evenings can be boring. Plenty of sunbeds although the pool did get crowded at times. Too many children in the main pool, many or which couldn’t swim and had floats, lilos etc and congregated around the steps into the pool as there is no shallow end at all. A lot of the time they were unsupervised and this made us feel worried for their safety as there is no life guard. Food plentiful and nice although did get very repetitive. We did not like the food in the Al a carte but that was our preference. Bus stop outside the hotel which is handy to get into Platanais and Chania. The beach is not great in our opinion, very stoney. Overall we had a lovely 10 days.

A perfect family day at Solimar Aquamarine
We spent a beautiful day at Solimar Aquamarine and it was a wonderful experience! The hotel is amazing, very clean, with a beautiful atmosphere, great facilities, and a lovely family-friendly environment.
The pools, the food, and the service were excellent. Everyone was very kind and welcoming, making us feel comfortable from the first moment.
A special thank you to the lovely lady who organizes activities for the children. Her smile, kindness, patience, and energy made the kids so happy. She truly knows how to make children feel special and enjoy every moment. ❤️
It was a perfect day full of relaxation, fun, and beautiful memories. Congratulations to the whole team for the excellent work. We will definitely visit again! ☀️🌴
Flirty waitress!
The hotel itself was really nice, clean and good view, the food was great but the drinks they don’t have a lot of options if you don’t drink alcohol just normal sodas but not alcohol free cocktails for normal all inclusive, the staff most of them was nice but few were rude and one of the restaurant staff she came and flirted with my husband while me and my baby sitting with him, he kept ignoring her but she kept going, and everyday we were there she tried to come to the table to talk to him when i am not there and if i come and try to talk to her she ignores me and talks to him still and he doesn’t answer, and we eventually told her to stay away from us but it is very unprofessional, and the rest of the staff was seing what she was doing and didn’t do anything.
Overall experience that the hotel was good, good rooms, clean but because of this we won’t be coming back here again.
Lovely staff and facilities but would benefit from better non alcohol drinks options
The hotel facilities are extremely good and all staff friendly and personable. The buffet food was generally reasonable and the al le carte restaurant excellent. The availability of alcohol free drinks was limited and and would benefit from improving the variety and quality.
