Asterion Suites and Spa

Believe the reviews - this hotel is excellent. If you are looking for a smaller adults only hotel and a relaxing holiday in peaceful surroundings with access to both a pool and a beach within 500 metres of each other staffed by the friendliest team this is it. The beach is small pebbles so beach \ water shoes a must but the sea is completely clear on a calm day with great views of the coast. The pool offered the chance for a quick dip and to relax with a drink. Sunbeds are the highest quality we have ever experienced around the world, very comfortable and washed and cleaned regularly and always one available. Rooms were a good size, spotlessly clean, bathroom had great shower with good pressure and plenty of hot water. Breakfast, lunch and dinner all offered excellent food and choices and variety. What really makes this place as many others have commented is the staff - they are just fabulous and nothing is too much trouble. From our arrival being met to by the friendly Michalis on reception, great restaurant and boat trip recommendations from Katerina, to all those in the breakfast and restaurant areas managed by Manolis and of course the Pool Bar managed by George and his brilliant team of Tony, Red, Jake and of course who could forget Ramesh, who never stopped smiling. Despite being all inclusive we chose to eat in Platanais most evenings which is just a short taxt ride away and has an array of restaurants and bars and excellent food, All in all a fabulous holiday in a truly relaxing, welcoming atmosphere. We look forward to returning soon.

We have just returned from Asterion hotel, and just like everyone else says, this hotel is magical, we had a 2 bedroom suite which was fantastic as my partner and I never travel light, so plenty of room for our clothes, the rooms are cleaned daily by the friendly cleaning team, and our fridge was never empty of beer, fruit juice and cold drinks, water was plentiful. In the dining room there was always plenty of choice even though my partner and I are both pescatarian, just be careful with the minestrone as it has bacon in it, the staff couldn’t be more helpful especially Maria, but all the staff are fantastic. We loved the ordering from the bed service and the longest we waited for a drink was 5 minutes with the record was held by the fantastic Ramesh of 2 minutes. At the bar there is the amazing Tony and George or as we have nicknamed Tony Negroni never had one before but now it’s our favourite drink. All in all this is a fantastic hotel with amazing staff.

We recently had the most amazing holiday here, and this was one of many stays we’ve enjoyed at this beautiful hotel.

The location is wonderfully relaxing, right on the beachfront, with first-class food and service throughout. The rooms are beautiful, everywhere is absolutely spotless, and the whole hotel has such a tasteful, classy, adults-only feel. It really does offer a very special experience and is somewhere we always look forward to returning to.

There is, however, one thing that really lets the standard of the hotel down — the live piano entertainment on a Tuesday evening.

Unfortunately, it was genuinely embarrassing. A restaurant full of guests had to sit through what could only be described as very poor karaoke-style entertainment, and it just felt completely out of keeping with the otherwise sophisticated atmosphere of the hotel.

Please 🙏 consider bringing in some quality professional artists who complement the beautiful setting and the standard of experience you provide everywhere else. This hotel deserves entertainment that matches the class and quality of everything around it.
