Welcome to Pilot Amphora, a Boutique Hotel that offers intimate hospitality in a state of the art accommodation and quality services for a chilled-out stay within a modern, tranquil, and adult friendly environment (only kids over 14 years old allowed). The hotel is located in the center of the village of Georgioupolis Crete, just 2km away from Pilot Beach Resort, with easy access to sightseeing and popular attractions in the area. Pilot Beach Resort, a corner stone of authentic “Filoxenia” (Hospitality) on the island, inspired and established Pilot Amphora boutique hotel. The facilities of Pilot Beach Resort as well as the restaurants-bars are available to all Pilot Amphora guests. During the excavation for the hotel's foundation, a ceramic workshop from the 2nd century AD was discovered which is exhibited on the premises along with copies of some artifacts that were unearthed.

A gem of a hotel
We have just returned from a 9 night stay at Pilot Amphora. It is a real gem, run by the wonderful Panos and his team. The hotel is modern and clean and maintained to a high standard. We were on a half board package. The food was excellent with an amazing fresh spread at breakfast and high quality 5 course meals in the evening. There was a lovely peaceful atmosphere around the pool area, which had plenty comfortable loungers and seating. Highly recommend.

Highly recommend.
I would highly recommend staying at this lovely boutique hotel if you are looking for peace and relaxation. The service, cleanliness and food has been impeccable. From check in to check out we have been throughly looked after by the team of staff would work extremely hard to make you feel welcome. We only took breakfast as the five courses over two weeks would have been too much. However other guest highly recommended it to us. You have the transfer service to the Pilot Beach hotel if you prefer a day on the beach and can use all the facilities of pools, gym, restaurants and entertainment if you require a different environment, it's a five minute journey to the end of the beautiful village of Georgioupolis. We have travelled extensively. the plus for us was that we were in a lovely peaceful hotel if you needed a quite relaxing day, however you could walk 100 meters and be in the centre of the village with shops bars and Taverners, also a lovely sandy beach and little marina. The hotel is adult only, we did spend a little time at the Pilot Beach and thought how lovely both the hotel and private beach was for families.
We would definitely return which is not something we would usually do.
The people make the memories
This hotel has far exceeded our expectations. The hotel is very modern with everything you require. The rooms are a good size with good air conditioning, fridge, large tv, bathroom has good shower and light up magnifying mirror, the maids clean once a day leaving a bottle of water each time. The food and drink are really good, we stayed half board and the evening meals were exceptional, sometimes the 5 courses was too much. During our stay we celebrated our anniversary and management kindly supplied cake and a bottle of sparkling wine this was very much appreciated also add there was a few shots of raki after an evening meal as well. The pool area is a very chilled out space to relax, depending on the time of day there's space in the sunshine or shade if required . We also visited the beach where you can walk for at least an hour along the sand (some small amounts of seaweed and stones). The title said the best thing about this holiday is the hotel staff, they work so hard , always happy to help make your holiday memories the best possible.

Peaceful, relaxing oasis with exceptional service
An amazing week in this beautiful small hotel. It is immaculately clean. We arrived at 1.30am and were welcomed and taken to our room and given food and sandwiches. We had a suite with a private pool which was lovely. The food and service are exceptional. The manager and his team are so attentive and give such a personal service. It's a little quiet oasis but close to the local amenities and buzz. We had half board with a 5 course À la carte dinner. There are also wonderful local tavernas. Portions are huge in tavernas. You can also get a transfer to the larger resort which is lovely. Couldn't fault a thing. We didn't want to leave!

Honeymoon magic!!
Chose Pilot Amphora for our honeymoon and we are not disappointed!! Arrived very late (or extremely early depending on your definition of 1.30am!) we were greeted by a lively gentleman on arrival who showed us directly to our room and then brought sandwiches and cold water. Beautiful flowers and champagne in our room on arrival too! Had a lovely breakfast this morning....beautiful selection of hot and cold items plus eggs made to order. So pleased we chose Pilot Amphora for our honeymoon.
