⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An exceptional experience — a truly unforgettable stay
My husband and I are currently enjoying our stay at Mythos Palace Resort & Spa, with just one more day of our holiday remaining, and I already know that we will be leaving with the most wonderful and memorable memories. From the moment we arrived, we have been impressed by the unique atmosphere of this beautiful hotel. What makes Mythos Palace truly special, however, is its people. The warmth, kindness and genuine hospitality of the entire team have made our stay feel truly exceptional. Every member of staff we encountered was warm, welcoming, professional and incredibly kind. Their attention to detail and genuine smiles created an atmosphere that made us feel not simply like guests, but truly welcomed and looked after. The hotel itself is beautiful, exceptionally clean and very well maintained, with wonderful facilities throughout. Everything is presented to an excellent standard, and the cleanliness deserves a special mention. The dining experience has also been outstanding. There is an impressive variety of beautifully prepared food, with something to suit every taste, and everything we have tried has been fresh and absolutely delicious. We have genuinely looked forward to every meal. I would particularly like to express my heartfelt thanks to Bilyna, whose hospitality has been exceptional. She is always smiling, welcoming and attentive, and provides service with such warmth and genuine care. What impressed me most is the way she communicates with guests — always kind, patient and genuinely willing to help. She is a wonderful ambassador for the hotel and a truly lovely person. A very special thank you also to Chrisa, Spiros, Natasha, Aleksandar and the entire lobby bar team. Thank you for your kindness and for making our evenings so enjoyable and memorable. Your warmth and excellent service have made us feel so welcome. I would also like to mention the reception team, who are always welcoming and helpful. Every time we passed by reception, we were warmly greeted with a smile, and the team was always genuinely happy to assist with anything we needed. And a special thank you to the gentleman who looks after our room. Every day we return to a room that is spotlessly clean and beautifully cared for. His attention to detail is greatly appreciated. I sincerely hope I haven’t forgotten anyone, because every single member of the Mythos Palace team has contributed in some way to making our holiday so special. This is our first visit to Mythos Palace, but it has certainly made a lasting impression on us. We have completely fallen in love with Crete and with this beautiful resort. Mythos Palace has already taken the number one place on my list of favourite hotels, and although we still have one more day to enjoy, I already know that we will be coming back. Thank you to the entire Mythos Palace team for an exceptional holiday and for creating memories that we will treasure for a very long time. Our first visit — but definitely not our last. We are already looking forward to seeing you again next year.

Not good when had staff drink Raki and Ouzo !!!
It amazes us that people do reviews saying the place is fantastic ! ..... Who are people we met and they certainly didn't say that !!!
The staff are nice especially girls at pool bar.
It would be better if less Raki and Ouzo was drunk by bar staff and that focus of attention went into to food in the restaurant from a budget point of view (in other words it could be better Managed).

Chilled, Bliss, Paradise & Hidden Gem!
Wonderful 10 night stay. All staff helpful and friendly. From Kyma Beach Restaurant, the Beach and Pool bar to the main restaurant and bar. The cleaning staff were amazing and did great job with our Beach Front Villa. The Spa staff were experienced and friendly. The manager was brilliant with going through the treatments and Anna did a good job with my muscles and back. Fortini and Athanisia at the Pool bar were excellent. Same for Charis, Marianna and the other lady with Forty at the beach bar. I made a good friend at Kyma. I forgot his name but he has a beard and young guy. He will work with olives when hotel closes? One structural criticism is the themed restaurant nights. Same food during our stay so only booked one night each. Would like to see more BBQ cooking at Kyma in the evening. Say nice Beef steaks on the grill, with chicken and bigger bits of tender lamb pieces. We got a lot of fat and bones with our lamb at Kyma. Also would love to see lamb moussaka more frequently at the main buffet restaurant. Only saw it come out once. All chefs are amazing and explained all the dishes. All Hotel reception (Margarita) excellent service. Beach clean everyday! Hotel showers, toilets, seating areas regularly kept clean and maintained. Breath taking views with surrounding mountains and the sea and beach is like paradise. Hotel gardens beautiful and well kept as are all the private pools and main pool. Hotel evening entertainment was good and different every night. My daughter loved the kids entertainment too. The bar staff in the evening main bar did so well with all the drinks orders too. Didn’t need to wait long for table service at all. Waiting for quotation review for next year for the same Beach Front Villa and 10 night stay late August. As we want this to be our second home for all future European family holiday. Our 8 year old daughter loved it for hers and our first official family holiday abroad. She loved the sweet corner every evening, especially the girl who works there. She was friendly and always smiled and helped our daughter try everything. The hotel ambience all round is so chilled and relaxed. No drunken idiots making fools of themselves, although we did have a lot of cocktails everyday. As EVERYTHING is all inclusive. Recommend hiring a gazebo in the beachfront and will help shade from the heat. €20 euros a day comes with chopped fresh fruit platter. You can book and day or days you want and there are 10. Plenty of beach sun loungers to cater for all so no need to get up early to reserve. It is one of the best Blue Flag beaches we’ve been too. Seas is turquoise, clear and warm. When you get in it’s sand at the bottom and up to chest height for about 100m out to sea. If windy the waves a crazy fun but if too windy/choppy, they will not allow you to swim. Which is good as saves lives. Our beach front villa was perfectly placed. The back (garden with private pool ) out looking at the rear gardens, beach bar and sea. Also the beach restaurant. All 90 seconds walk to. The pool/main bar is 30 seconds walk out of the front door. Main hotel bar and restaurant is 1 minute walk. We had the perfect position for everything. We had private pool so if we wanted cocktails, wine, beer or cold bottled water, literally in spitting distance. Truly a 5* experience. We took a cab 10 mins (€11) to Lake Koumas! Oh my lord! What a beautiful lake with turtles. There are many tavernas here but you need to ask the taxi to take you to Kavaros Taverna. Perched on the mountain side overlooking this beautiful lake with turquoise water surrounding it. The views are spectacular of the lake and the sea. This Restaurant food is Traditional and woodfire cooks everything. They gave me litre bottle of white wine locally made as a gift. We will return every year if we can unless we pick a long haul trip on the occasion. I hope all the pictures taken do it justice.

Fabulous family break
Great small friendly hotel. Beach front, amazing Mountain View’s. Great local food. Family room a little snug but great to have a private pool room.
Our Second Stay – A Pleasant Experience with a Few Areas for Improvement
For our family, this is the second stay at this hotel, the previous one being in 2024. We truly appreciate the beach, the landscape of the sea entrance, the tranquility, the friendly atmosphere, the kind and warm staff, as well as the tasty and diverse cuisine.
Still, we believe more emphasis should be placed on seafood — it should be offered more frequently, considering that this is Crete.
The smell coming from the small river next to the hotel is an issue that requires a quick solution. The cause should be identified and addressed, as it creates a feeling of discomfort.
Nevertheless, we are already considering returning for a vacation in 2027, and most likely we will choose the same hotel again.
