Mythos Palace - what a week
We have just had an amazing week here, the hotel, staff, food and location were excellent. Can say that for value for money it completely exceeded what we were expecting from the beach bar refreshing drinks to the cocktails on the veranda while watching the live entertainment. All the restaurants were excellent and the special traditional Greek night was outstanding and will definitely return ASAP

Excellent hotel in many respects. Lovely rooms, very clean, good choice of food & very attentive staff who worked very hard. BUT jet2 customers beware you may be told your room is not ready due to an electrical problem but will be available the following day. However room is then not available until the 2nd day. Happened to us & 2 other couples with Jet2. Inconvenient & not what we paid for - living out of a suitcase
Disappointing experience & not worth the price we paid
I booked Mythos Palace because of all the wonderful reviews it has on here, but we were unfortunately disappointed. It certainly didn't live up to its 5 star status or the excellent reviews other people have left. We had a family suite with a sea view. The layout of the room meant the main bedroom felt dark & dingy. The bathroom was very tired & cleaning wasn't up to standard. Cleanliness throughout the hotel felt lacking, we never saw anyone cleaning in the communal areas, including the pool. The pool felt small for the size of the hotel, and although we could normally get sun loungers, the umbrellas were fixed to the floor which often meant we were completely without shade. Not ideal in August, especially with children. The lady who ran the kids club was really nice but, unfortunately, our child was the only young English child in the entire hotel making it difficult for them to make friends. The evening entertainment was dire (with the exception of the acrobats). The worst thing about the hotel was the food. I really can't understand the good reviews because it was not good at all. Chewy pork was a main staple of lunch and dinner EVERY day. We love Greek food but we didn't have one typically Greek meal in the entire week. Needless to say, we won't be returning & don't recommend.

The location of the hotel is excellent, the beach is beautiful. The staff is friendly and polite, and the hotel is very clean. We've been here nine times already.
