Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Very nice hotel with few little annoying problems.
Additionally due to new road layout there's very problematic access to the hotel which is obviously not their fault.
Very good hotel! we went here for the second time .
But some things are not good ; -the loudness in the hole hotel espesscialy when there is a big party, everybody seems to party together with them. Even when it is late in the evening and we wanted to sleep, nobody of the hotel management is saying to the parry people there is an end of this party (till we complain).
I struggle to find fault with the hotel. We have been on many holidays to similar style hotels but this one is the best one yet by far. The room was incredibly clean on our very late arrival and throughout the stay (food left in room for us) was so pleased to just get a good nights sleep and not worry. On waking up we could not believe the view - we had seen the pictures but they do not do it justice in real life. It is definitely worth getting up for sunrise at least once - not only was the sunrise out of this world but the sun shining on the mountains behind the hotel making them glow orange was amazing.
Throughout our stay we manly ate in the all inclusive restaurant and can’t fault the quality of the food and attentive staff we had a meal at the hotel taverna and a few meals out on our days off - Mythos taverna in town was beautiful. We have had bigger selections of food in other hotels but they have been bigger hotels.
Every morning I was up for a swim before breakfast and would pop up to the restaurant to pick up a lovely coffee to take back to the veranda to sit in the sun and get ready for the day. The cleaning staff were cleaning sun beds and sweeping and washing down all of the grounds, plants getting watered and you could see the care that goes into keeping the grounds so beautifully.
The bar staff were incredible making us lovely cocktails, we sampled most but ended up sticking to tequila sunrise or a rum and coke or beer by the end of the week. They where all in great humour and patience in helping me to learn to order in Greek and even to ask how they where - next up is to learn to understand their response back to me! Unfortunately the beach bar only opened for the season on our last night but we had a brilliant night dancing with people from all over the world!
Animation - although we don’t speak fluent French we can pick up bits to get by but we did notice as the week went on more and more was done in other languages too however they are predominantly French, having said that we can’t fault their enthusiasm and charisma and the variety of activities on offer throughout the day would suit a range of people. We loved the aqua boxing and cooking demos!
Beach - what a beautiful beach, this is coming from someone Cornish who grew up on beaches and has a high standard of what is a nice beach! Smooth golden sand, a little bit of pebbles - even some sea glass! A few fish and mostly calm sea except for one windy day. Lovely walk into town along the beach or out towards the hotels in the other direction. 3 beach bars to the left on the way to town to stop off at too! Sea temperatures I would say warmer than uk summer when we went in May (I swim all year round in the uk sea so was warm for me) pool slightly cooler but not cold.
Reception team all very friendly and welcoming and helped out with informing chefs of my nut allergy and when our bus dropped us off wrong. They became like friends recognising us as we walked past. Although we had no big problems I would think they would be very helpful if needed.
We had a late flight home and used the baggage room and shower rooms in the evening and used all inclusive until we left that night.
I would highly recommend and we will very likely be returning at some point in the future- and Iv never been back the the same hotel twice before!
I loved that this wasn't a massive hotel for thousands of guests. It has a beautiful location and cozy seating options in the gardens. The cuisine was excellent and diverse, and the staff everywhere—both at the bar and in the restaurants—were great, kind, and welcoming. I prefer peace and quiet on vacation, so I truly appreciated the opportunity to sit anywhere around the resort, whether in the gardens or under the pergola. Our cleaning lady was excellent and kept our room spotless every day. The entertainment team was also good; at least I got to improve my French!
We stayed at this hotel for the second time because we knew exactly what to expect, and once again we had a wonderful holiday. We really appreciate the excellent food, the cleanliness, and the high standard of service throughout the hotel. The beach is also clean, and the sunbeds are included in the all-inclusive package. There are always plenty of free sunbeds available throughout the day, which is a big advantage. All the staff were exceptionally kind, friendly, and helpful. Whenever something needed to be fixed in our room, it was taken care of immediately. The beds were comfortable, and our family room was spacious enough for all of us. If we could suggest just one small improvement, it would be the chilled tap water served in carafes in the restaurant. Unfortunately, it has quite an unpleasant taste. Perhaps installing a water filtration or purification system could improve the quality. Apart from that, we are very happy with this hotel and would gladly return again. We especially appreciate the hotel's environmentally friendly approach. Unlike many other hotels we have visited, the plastic cups at the outdoor bar are not disposable—they are washed and reused many times. This significantly reduces plastic waste, and we think it is a great initiative that deserves recognition.
