The hotel lies 5 km away from the picturesque village of Georgioupolis, known for its long, sandy beaches and the breath-taking views of the Cretan mountains. The hotel is located 95 km from Heraklion International airport and 55 km from the International airport of Chania. The town of Rethymno, 16 km to the east, offers a wide selection of tavernas, bars and night-clubs. The hotel offers various leisure activities. On the beach there are sunbeds, parasols and beach volleyball. There is an outdoors freshwater swimming and a fully equipped gym. At a short distance from the hotel there are horseback riding, scuba diving and other water sports facilities. The resort offers a conference room theatre style and classroom style with audio-visual equipment. All rooms are well-equipped as standard and feature a balcony or terrace with magnificent views.

Perfect stay
Stay first week of sept. Mr Bandeli créâtes us at the réception upon arrival. He gave the tone for the whole week, followed by Yasser at the sport activities. We enjoyed our week all the staff is amazing well done Manager and assistant manager the Lovely tunisien lady. Bravoo
Extra safe charge, towels every 2 days, limited food variety, and cleaning noise disturbing my rest.
Beautiful location, but disappointing for a 5-star hotel The hotel has a beautiful location. I really enjoyed the fact that there is a sea view on one side and impressive mountain views on the other. The surroundings are very pleasant. The reception staff were very friendly and welcoming. I would especially like to mention Katerina, who was extremely kind, helpful and always willing to assist with any question or request. She definitely deserves special recognition. Unfortunately, there were several things that I found disappointing, particularly for a hotel advertised as 5-star. I was surprised to find that the safe in the room required an additional payment, even though I had booked a half-board stay for a week. In hotels of a similar standard, including many hotels in Crete, I have never been asked to pay extra for a room safe. Initially, the towels were changed only every two days, and there was no bathrobe in the room. After I asked, however, the towels were changed daily, which I appreciated. I also found the situation with drinking water unusual. Instead of receiving a new bottle of water each morning, guests are expected to refill their bottles with filtered water at the bar. This is not what I would normally expect from a 5-star hotel. The food selection was also rather limited, both at breakfast and dinner. I expected more variety and choice from a hotel of this category. Another issue was the noise. I had specifically booked a ground-floor room with a private pool, expecting to enjoy a peaceful and relaxing stay. Unfortunately, in the mornings and also intermittently during the day, there was considerable noise from the cleaning staff’s trolley passing along the corridor. At times, this was quite disruptive and made it difficult to relax and enjoy the room and private pool area. Overall, while the location and the friendliness of the staff were definitely positive aspects, I left somewhat disappointed. The hotel has many good qualities, but in my opinion, several details do not correspond to the level and service I would expect from a 5-star property. It is a shame that these relatively small details can have such a significant impact on the overall impression and experience of a stay. With some attention to these points, the hotel could offer a much more complete 5-star experience.

Wonderful stay
We had a wonderful stay at Hydramis Palace. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. The hotel was very well maintained, the pool was pleasantly warm, and the food was plentiful with a great variety every day.
A nice surprise was that guests could gather in the evenings to watch the football World Cup together, while those who preferred something different could enjoy the evening entertainment instead. The gym was also better equipped than what you usually find in hotel fitness rooms, which was a big plus.
The hotel itself is not the newest, but that did not affect our experience at all. If your budget allows, I would recommend choosing a Sea View room rather than a Garden View room. At least on the ground floor, the Garden View terraces are located right next to one of the hotel's internal walkways. We stayed in a Double Sea View room, and the view was absolutely beautiful.
Bus stop is near the hotel so we didnt even need to rent a car.

Fantastisk
We had a wonderful stay at Hydramis Beach Resort! The entire staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. We would also like to mention how delicious the food was. Even though I had some stomach issues during our stay, I could always find something suitable to eat and felt very comfortable.
We would especially like to thank a few amazing members of the team.
Eleni always welcomed and said goodbye to guests in the restaurant with her beautiful smile. She made everyone feel welcome, and it was always a pleasure to come for every meal because of her positive attitude.
Yasser made sure that nobody ever got bored. He is such a positive, energetic, and cheerful person who knows how to create a great atmosphere for everyone. And one more thing—if Yasser is playing beach volleyball, be prepared to lose because his team always wins! 😀 He is an outstanding player.
And of course, Katerina at the reception deserves a special thank you. She welcomed us on our very first day with such kindness, warmth, and professionalism. She explained everything clearly, answered all our questions, and made us feel at home from the very beginning.
We would also like to thank everyone working at the bar, in the restaurant, and the housekeeping team. You are an amazing team! Thank you for your hard work, kindness, and hospitality.

Fantastic resort
This is by far one of the best resorts I have ever had the pleasure to stay in. The staff is very friendly and the Manager was wonderful and very helpful. Food was also delicious and satisfying with great selection that will satisfy any palette. Beach and pool were also fantastic. I would recommend to anyone!
