Anemos Luxury Hotel - A lovely relaxing experience.
Anemos is a lovely hotel complex. The staff were very welcoming & obliging. Cleanliness was first class as was the service. Our room was very comfortable & spacious, although a full length mirror would have been useful. It was a delight to have an opening window, with fly screen, in the well appointed bathroom. There was plenty of different food selections at all the dining times & plenty of staff to clear tables & serve coffee. There are 4 speciality restaurants, of which we enjoyed the Greek & Italian ones the best.
The pool & beach areas were well appointed & the hotel gardens well kept. Although the electric buggies, use by the staff, were driven at a fast speed around the complex, which made us feel vulnerable when walking round the grounds. We did hear one guest ask the driver to slow down.
Our only fault was that its location was a bit isolated & quite a long transfer time Chania airport.
We did think the €105 ‘Environmental Tax’ for a week was rather expensive, plus having to pay ‘cash’ for any little extras was a bit of a shock as usually only card payments are accepted, plus there was no options on the hotel cash machine to avoid paying fees!

Very nice resort for couples and families
Wonderful location near the wide, sandy beach. Wonderful space for long walks and good location to discover the island. Very friendly atmosphere, good cleanliness both in the rooms and common areas like hallways or dining spaces , nice rooms.
A lovely stay
Had a lovely 3 nights staying at Anemos Luxury Grand. Our room was spacious and comfortable and very clean. A couple of points could have improved it, a walk in shower rather than over the bath one and a full length mirror in the room. I appreciate we stayed later in the season but the swim up pool loungers never got the sun at any time during the day.
The food was excellent in both the buffet and a la cartes and being able to eat at any of the restaurants during the day was an added bonus. The beach restaurant was a lovely setting.
Every member of staff we came across were super helpful and very friendly.
Would I go back? Yes.

Lovely holiday despite the weather.
Great holiday in excellent hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. We arrived during the worst storm Crete had experienced for decades so couldn't make much use of the pools or lovely beach but still found enough to do. Food is excellent in quality and variety. One point to note; the tourist tax is payable in cash only. We will return.
