The resort is located by the sea, close to a small, rocky inlet of sand. It is just 1 km from Agios Nikolaos, the centre of Cretan culture. Guests can explore the lovely nature around the Agios Nikolaos Lake, which is only 15 minutes away. Furthermore, the beautiful Vai palm forest is 95 km away. Heraklion Airport is about 64 km from the resort. This deluxe waterfront hotel is an excellent 129-room establishment, set in a tranquil, colourful location surrounded by flower-filled gardens. There is a well-equipped conference room with wireless Internet access point for business travellers, whilst leisure guests are provided with a games room, TV lounge and a variety of services. Guests can wine and dine in the bar and restaurant or give themselves over to relaxation at the SPA. An outdoor pool and various land and water sports are available for active recreation.

Gem of a hotel
Minos Beach Art Hotel is an absolute gem, this is the second time we have stayed here, last time just my husband and myself, this time it was a family stay with our grown up sons and their girlfriends to celebrate my 60th. The staff made our stay so memorable and are a credit to the hotel. The hotel is gorgeous and in such a beautiful location. The food is out of this world especially the breakfast. We will definitely be visiting again

Stayed at the minos beach for the 8th time in june 2026, as a hotel they have made small changes and improvements to lots of areas since our last stay which have made a massive difference to the overall feel. They have completely remodelled the main pool which is super with a new eating area, they have replaced most of the sunbeds around the grounds so no matter where you are based you will be in comfort. As usual rooms and food were to a very high standard. We had a small issue with the bungalow that we were allocated on arrival, on raising it with the new manager he could not do enough to put the situation right and ensure our stay was up to our expectations, in fact he moved us to ensure we were happy rather than trying to adjust where we were. All in all we have found the minos beach to be one of our favourite destinations, hence why we keep going back. I can't recommend it highly enough. If you are looking for a peaceful and luxurious holiday in the area then this hotel should be on you list. thank you again Minos Beach for a great holiday

My husband and me are in Minos Beach eight times because it’s the stunning magical place set off on the relax,friendly employees,delicious food and magnificent views vacation.We appreciate very much the hospitality and necessary news especially this year .We love beautiful mediterranean garden and massages here ☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️

Outstanding Five Star Hotel
First time that we have stayed at the Minos Beach Art Hotel and it definitely will not be the last. This is a fabulous resort. It has both hotel rooms and villas scattered amongst the extensive gardens. We had a villa and it was such a relaxing place to be. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, they were all outstanding. The restaurants on site were all exceptional. The nightly buffet restaurant was remarkable in the quality of food and the different choices every day. We highly recommend;y recommend this hotel.

Simply The Best
I came with my parents in the early 80s, I brought my kids in the early 2000s and am here now with my Son and Grandson and it is, as ever, a world class, tranquil and amazing hotel, staff many of who here in the older days are still here, the ambience gets better the food always of the highest standard. Ive been here many times and it never disappoints.
