We recently visited this hotel for a break in Crete. We received a warm welcome on arrival and went through the usual rules. We got in our room and settled in. I have read loads of reviews many of which state it’s built on a hill..
Yep it’s built on quite a steep hill and has some narrow paths which have walls both sides and steps along the way. So if you have mobility issues please bear this in mind. There is only one lift which is for staff from the kitchen up to the restaurant. There is also quite a few steps and no handrails to assist.
The food we found adequate with always something to eat (as good as any other small all inclusive hotel). The staff always friendly and refilling food stands. The restaurant area was always spotlessly clean..
Must mention the hotel is spotlessly clean all areas at all times..
The bar is well run with staff that are very friendly and happy to help.. the drinks are the normal local drinks found at any other all inclusive hotel. There are branded drinks at extra cost but to be honest we never felt the need to buy these.
The local town is a short walk. Out the main entrance onto the small road and walk left. Short way down you will see a small underpass under the main road out the other side and turn left then right down the blocked paved road to the front.. the main area is filled with small shops restaurants and bars.
In summary pleasant little hotel. Very clean. Friendly staff. Food ok. Only down side would be the hill that the hotel is built on..
Stayed at the hotel for a week this July with a group of 7 friends. From the start of our stay we received nothing but the best customer service, reception were happy to help in any way they could such as booking taxis ect… at first we were optimistic about the food at the all inclusive but it was way beyond our expectations. The hospitality in the restaurant was incredible and I could not fault them at all, food was great with lots of options including your standard chips and pasta to suit everyone. The bar staff outside were amazing and the hotel had lots of drinks to offer. The pool area was kept clean and we managed to get 7 sunbeds all next to each other everyday. Our rooms were up the hill and had some amazing views over Stalis and the sea, they were cleaned and kept tidy daily by the cleaners. All round an amazing hotel and we all enjoyed our stay very much.
Just got back after staying here for a week. let me start off with the hill it is more like a mountain than a hill its bad dont go if you struggle with hills .Now the food.. that is really bad i have never seen sprouts on a breakfast buffet before but i did here. We were all inclusive but we eat out most meals because the food was so bad. You have got a 25/30 min walk to the strip or get a taxi who try to over charge you. The pool steps are very slippy we seen at least four people slip while entering the pool.the delivery vans drive right past the poolside which is bad if a child runs out.now the staff are fantastic from the manegment to the cleaners so freindly and helpfull the ladys on reception we lovely and managed to get us a room move which was a lot better for us. Michael behind the bar in the evening was always happy and polite my biggest shout out is to Eno who works in the restraunt what a really nice guy always ready to help and give information and great with the kids it was a plesure to have meet Eno a really nice guy
Fabulous hotel. Super location with good bus links and only a short walk into the resort centre. Lovely, friendly staff. Great food, lots of choice and varied each day. Nice clean comfortable rooms. We had a problem with air con initially but were moved rooms. 2 good pools with plenty of sunbeds. Already looking to book again!
My family room was very spacious, clean and minimalist. We had two balconies overlooking the sea. Only improvement would be more storage in the double bedroom. The food was fantastic. As a family of 13 of us ranging from 5-73, no one went hungry! The staff were so super friendly. Eanes (the restaurant manager) was fantastic at keeping the restaurant moving smoothly every day. Great with the children! They hugged him and said they’d miss him when we were leaving. The bar was great. Good drinks. No problems there. We’d definitely return. It was a lovely traditional Greek hotel. Not too big, not lots of cheesy loud entertainment, good facilities, nice food, great staff.
