Week long family break at the classic apartments.
We had a wonderful week at the classic apartments. Very relaxing and not overly busy as it’s small. It’s about a 20 minute walk from the nearest beach and shops, restaurants etc. The apartments themselves are traditional and cosy but could do with a bit of a refurb here and there so if you’re looking for posh this isn’t the place for you. However we had a wonderful stay, most of the time we had the pool to ourselves and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. I would definitely return.

- only the rooms nearby the reception have got wifi
- far away from the beach (around 25min on foot), no pavements on the way so pedestrians need to be very careful
- it’s hard to stay there without a car

Would love to give a better review but unfortunately the apartments are not as described on any holiday site. The apartments are set in beautiful grounds which are lovely and quiet as shown in the photos but that is where the truth stops, the apartments yes are cheap and cheerful but a massive amount of updating is required as the entire complex has not been looked after for a number of years. The rooms are incredibly basic and need re painting our celings were covered in black specks unsure if just dirt or mould, there were wires coming up through the floor in the main room which were not connected to anything, the cooking stove which was just a plug in electric ring was not fit for purpose. The cleaner came in daily to empty the bins but that was it, the bedding and towels were only changed once in two weeks. The bar/ pool room/ TV room/ snack bar does not exist, we were told it was not functioning as they were quiet ( no snacks at anytime, not even bottled water to purpose despite it being a 20 minute walk to the nearset shop in 30 degree heat ) yet all the apartments were full and having spoken to a number of local businesses and local residents it seems that this has been the case for a number of years and it's just an excuse thats given when you arrive as to why there's no facilities. The bar area is used as the reception now with it smelling very musty, it was incredibly dusty with the bar being used as storage.The outside BBQ has most definitely not been used for years and would not be safe to do so, the pool as cool as it is needs some updating and cleaning and would be better not to be on a time restraint when wanting to use it ( as it's only open from 9am till 6pm and it's then closed of ). Once down on the main strip it does make up for the apartments, lovely restaurants along the beach with lovely staff and our evening visit for Raki with Irene and Andreas made up for it. Please be aware when booking that the pictures are not what you are getting. There are no facilities at these apartments what so ever
Excellent base, basic but very pretty and lovely pool.
Clean room, bathroom and balcony. Gorgeous gardens, plenty of parking and fab pool. Bins changed daily, towels and bedding also changed during the week long stay. Virginia is wonderful and works hard to please everyone. No complaints! Despite it being self-catering I never intended to cook so, apart from needing a few extra cooking utensils and another ring, the kitchenette did the job. As for the bar/bbq area being closed as mentioned in other reviews, again it didn't detract from the stay. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return!
