This stylish boutique hotel provides tasteful modern accommodation in a peaceful location in a side street in Sissi village and is surrounded by a pretty garden. The beautiful beach and the local harbour are both about 300m away, while Heraklion International Airport (Nikos Kazantzakis) is a short 30-minutes drive away. Restaurants, shopping venues & also the small beautiful harbour can be found in the immediate vicinity (250 meters). Each accommodation unit present a unique stylish decoration with high quality furnishings and top-notch facilities to provide a perfect and relaxing atmosphere & offer to the customer a great holidays experience. The hotel restaurant proposes a varied menu of Cretan and international dishes as well as a delicious continental breakfast buffet, while the pool bar serves light appetisers, soft drinks, fresh juices and cocktails. During the day, guests may lounge by one of the 3 outdoor swimming pools, practise some exercise in the fitness centre and relax in the sauna, steam bath or the outdoor hot tub. Other hotel services include a 24-hour reception, free wireless service, a beauty salon and great business facilities.

An excellent 3.5* Hotel. This is NOT a 5*
We recently returned from a lovely stay at Angela Suites. We had a spacious deluxe double room with balcony which unfortunately didn't have a view. We were in a block of 9, the bottom 3 having direct access to their own pool. We all faced onto the side wall of another block which was disappointing. The room was spotless, however quite dated, including the bathroom.
Breakfast was satisfactory and served until 10.30. The breakfast staff were so friendly and very attentive.
The pool was 1.4m in depth throughout. Never any problem getting a sunbed during the day. Pool towels are also provided by the Hotel.
The Angela Studio Apts are across the road and have full use of the Hotels facilities. These are 3 star and the apartments have views of the mountains. If we were to return in the future we would definitely choose the Studios. The tourist tax for these is €2 per night compared to the €15 per night we paid on checkout for 11 nights! A huge amount when really there is no real difference between the 2 accommodations.
Please bear in mind the Hotel is not 5* This is an excellent 3.5* Hotel which we would return to again. If you come expecting 5* you will be disappointed. Fortunately, we read the reviews before we came and knew not to expect 5*

Lovely short stay and close by to everything
Had a short 7 day visit with family but would have been happy to stay longer. Rooms large with everthing in the rooms. Great air con. Spotless and well cleaned with lovely maids. Staff were superb from hotel reception to all of the staff at breakfast who were very attentive. Their was a young grump of bar man in the evenings who was difficult but you always get one. The suites are in great location for shops, bars etc. Supermarkets close by ( left out of hotel, then turn right and walk past the large church which takes you to one of main streets ) I prefered the smaller supermarket , on the right at end of street which was much cheaper and friendly. Beach is short walk if you turn right out of hotel, tricky to find but put google maps on. Pool area nice and no problem getting a bed. Prices ok but food is good and you dont have to leave sunbed except to order, All in all a great stay and we would book here again without hesitation .
Good location
Angela Suites is in an ideal location to enjoy all the local restaurants and cocktail bars in Sissi. The hotel is extremely clean and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. We didn't have an evening meal in the restaurant but lunchtime drinks and food was good and reasonably priced. I found the breakfast very repetitive, the fresh fruit salad never varied, I never saw a grape, apple or any berries in 14 days. There was the usual self service hot food section, toast, croissants, greek yoghurt but no cooked to order egg station. Other guests were permitted to smoke on the edge of the breakfast area and of course, smoke travels! It was the same round the pool. As far as the hotel, I believe the only reason it is classed as 5* is because of the onsite spa and gym. The communal areas were 4* at best and our Junior suite room with balcony was more a 3/3.5*. The bath area is very dated with a shower over the bath and a shower curtain. I can't remember the last time I saw one of those! The bed is memory foam and comfortable and our sheets were changed every couple of days. Although the towels were thin, they were nice and white and changed daily. Because this is classed as a 5* hotel, the daily tax is €15. The hotel also has an apartment block, steps away and the guests are able to use all the facilities of the hotel, the tax for the apartments is only €2 daily. I have given this a 4 out of 5, but my true rating would be 3.5 out of 5. We did enjoy our stay in Sissi, it is a very pretty town but unfortunately I probably would not return to Angela Suites.

Angela boutique
Our stay was absolutely wonderful from start to finish! The hotel's location couldn't have been better—close to everything we wanted to see and do, making it incredibly convenient to explore the area.
The hotel itself was spotless. Our room and all the common areas were impeccably clean, which made our stay even more comfortable and relaxing.
What truly made this hotel stand out, though, was the exceptional staff. Everyone was warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive, always going above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. A special thank you to Lefty and Katrina, who were incredibly kind, friendly, and professional. Their outstanding hospitality made us feel right at home and turned a great stay into a truly memorable one.
We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable stay with exceptional service. We will definitely be back!
Wonderful time at Angela Suites
Our stay at Angela Suites Boutique was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The hotel is beautifully maintained, spotlessly clean, and you can tell the staff take immense pride in keeping everything to such a high standard. Our room was cleaned every day, with fresh towels provided daily, making it feel like a luxury experience throughout our stay.
The location is perfect—just a short stroll from some wonderful tavernas, shops, and bars, so everything you need is within easy walking distance while the hotel itself remains peaceful and relaxing.
What really makes this hotel exceptional, though, is the staff. Every single member of the team goes above and beyond to make your holiday special. The lovely girls serving breakfast each morning always greeted us with genuine smiles and somehow knew everyone by name, creating such a warm and personal atmosphere. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and their kindness made every morning start perfectly.
A special mention has to go to Lefty behind the bar. He is an absolute star! His friendly personality, great sense of humour, and incredible mojitos kept us coming back every evening. He’s a real credit to the hotel and made our nights by the pool even more enjoyable.
If you’re staying here, you also have to visit Amelia’s Bar—it’s simply perfection and well worth a visit.
The hotel’s Thursday barbecue was another highlight. For just €25, it offered an incredible selection of delicious food, with generous portions and plenty of choice. It was excellent value for money and a brilliant evening.
Angela Suites Boutique exceeded all our expectations. Between the immaculate hotel, ideal location, fantastic food, and the most attentive, welcoming staff we’ve experienced, it truly deserves every one of its five stars. The team genuinely care about their guests and go above and beyond to make everyone feel valued. We wouldn’t hesitate to return and will be recommending this wonderful hotel to family and friends.
