Our stay at Domes Zeen was made unforgettable by the people who work here. Katerina, Anastasia and Chris went far beyond what you’d expect — always warm, always genuinely happy to help, and somehow always one step ahead of what we needed.
Katerina made us feel welcome from the very first moment and never lost that energy. Anastasia was incredibly attentive and thoughtful with every detail. Chris was friendly, quick and made every interaction easy and enjoyable.
The resort itself is beautiful, but it’s this team that turns a great hotel into a memorable holiday. Thank you Katerina, Anastasia and Chris — we hope to come back and see you again
Despite an enjoyable stay at Domes we thought that the hotel did fall short in a few areas. In a very remote location (although walkable to a lovely restaurant) it did feel a little strange arriving up a small lane. Check in was excellent, welcomed by Theodore and given a welcome drink. Our two bedroom room with private pool had the basis to be excellent BUT it felt very crowded, the sliding doors seemed odd and lacked privacy as a result and the bed frame is dangerous as we constantly knocked our legs on the corner of the frame. The bed itself was extremely comfortable. Our pool sadly did not see the sun after 10.30am so the water was very cold. The private terrace however was beautiful and a lovely place to relax. The food served in the Beach House for lunch and dinner and Zamora was excellent. This is a family hotel for young children, if you don't mind swimming in a pool full of buckets and toys then it is the hotel for you. We travelled with older teens so it probably wasn't the place for us. The sunloungers are comfortable but we didn't understand the gravel that they sat on. Loved the beach. One final niggle is that we paid extra for Haute Living. In reality this lovely lounge should be positioned by the lower pool so guests can get value for money. We only visited it once due to its location at the top by reception. It was unrealistic to think that we would get drinks from here during the day given the effort it would have taken to get there. Overall we have stayed in better places for the same money but we still enjoyed our stay and would consider other Domes hotels but this one just wasn't for us. Lovely staff in the restaurants and all the pool bar.
We just left the Domes, and we had a good stay.
The highlights of this resort are the staff, the food & the view from the lobby. From check in to house keeping, to concierge, to food service everyone was very well trained and friendly.
The food was some of the best we had. Even the light snacks by the pool were fresh & very tasty.
The spa was zero frills, however, the massage was probably the best I’ve ever had. Highly recommend.
The cons- the distance to town. Cabs are needed. It’s sometimes very difficult to get one back. Last night we had to walk back (40 min) because the taxi line was an hour plus wait.
The property itself needs some work. I found the majority of the common area toilets leaking. The lobby bathroom was flooded with an inch of water in one stall, the bathrooms near the pool all were leaking causing a mess all day. The decks are very worn, and the inside steps in the big pool had a bunch of mold/mildew on them making them very slippery.
The smaller pool was a better option, quiet, cooler and less action.
I’m not sure I’d stay again just based on location however it was an ok stay.
The resort was beautiful and the service was outstanding. The beach chairs were great and the service at the beach was awesome!
I booked this holiday as a treat for myself, my daughter and her partner after a very distressing year. The hotel is luxurious and situated in a stunning location next to a private beach. All rooms are more like private bungalows or apartments with an ample terrace or patio (some had their own infinity pools) and there is a lovely, clean swimming pool where the water was warm, and surrounded by comfortable sun beds and seating. There are 2 restaurants on site and the pool bar which has a snack menu. The menu for the restaurants changes daily so you can experience lots of local cuisine during your stay. The breakfast options are huge, there’s so much choice and nothing is too much trouble for the team. We also went to a private wine tasting on our last full day which was intimate with just 8 guests, this was run so professionally and I can speak for us all that we really enjoyed it. The reception team were so friendly and welcoming and offered us drinks and snacks while waiting for taxis. Every night someone would come in to place fresh water next to the bed, turn down the covers and put slippers on a little mat next to the bed. It was a really nice touch. We loved the hotel and would definitely book to go again.
