The hotel is very large but friendly, with some rooms far from the main restaurant. The garden is clean and well-kept. The beach is nice, with a gentle slope into the sea, but there are a lot of rocks. The service is friendly and helpful. RENA, the waitress in the main restaurant, deserves special praise. Extremely kind and helpful, always smiling, she is the best showcase for this hotel.
We ❤️ Maria from the Calypso bar!!
We have visited this hotel twice now within 3 years purely for the fantastic service from our favourite staff member Maria from the Calypso Bar! Her attitude towards work and her job is absolutely outstanding and she always makes us feel at home! She is truly the sweetest person ever!! We were excited to return to this hotel to see her again and we love the new member of the team Aivan also. They are both great members of the team! The hotel is clean, quiet and has great service. Thank you Maria and Aivan for making our stay great!

A beautiful resort! The service was amazing and everyone team was so helpful and polite. The best part was the main bar with an amazing sea view and incredible staff. Thank you to Herson who looked after us throughout and was amazing!!!

Excellent Service at Mitzis Royal Mare
We've been several times at the hotel and always enjoyed it. This year they have a new Chef, and the food is even better, much better, than in the past. Also, the drinks at the main bar are quite good.
But the service really excels! Katharina from the Candia restaurant is very friendly, extremely competent, with great advices about the dinner. Maria from Pacifico treats you like a friend, eager to make your stay at the dinner an experience. And even beyond that is Aphrodite from the brunch at Pacifico: she's everywhere, an unbelievable host, she always has friendly words, is full of humor. These people are the heart of Royal Mare: BIG Thank You for making our stay a fantastic experience.
