- Stella Palace Aqua Park Resort

Surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens and palm trees, the elegant and modern Stella Palace is set on a private beach in the traditional village of Analipsis on the northern coast of the popular holiday island of Crete. The luxurious hotel offers stylish accommodation and features two gigantic lagoon-style swimming pools, a wide range of sports facilities and many entertainment options for children. The cosmopolitan town of Hersonissos with its famous nightlife can be reached within a short drive. An ideal hotel for couples and families with children for a beach holiday.
We at Stella Palace during the Easter break and had a wonderful holiday overall.
The resort is located in a quiet area of Analipsi. There are a few small supermarkets and tavernas just outside the resort, but not a great deal else within walking distance. On site, there is a boutique and two small shops, which are slightly expensive but sell some lovely items.
We did manage a few excursions around the area - including a boat drip, train and buggy around the surrounding area. All we can say is Crete is breathtakingly beautiful.
The resort is very family-oriented and many of the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The live band each evening was excellent and created a great atmosphere. It could be a little noisy late into the evening, which sometimes made it difficult to fall asleep, but this wasn't a major issue and certainly didn't detract from our overall experience.
Our room was clean, comfortable and cleaned thoroughly every morning, so we had no concerns at all.
The food was one of the highlights of our stay. There is a main buffet restaurant alongside several Γ la carte restaurants. During our visit, we ate at the steak restaurant (10/10), the Asian Fusion restaurant (10/10), the seafood restaurant (8/10) and the Greek restaurant (8/10). There was a fantastic variety of food, catering for a wide range of tastes. The restaurant staff consistently went above and beyond to ensure we had an enjoyable dining experience and were always attentive and accommodating.
There was plenty of entertainment. Our children absolutely loved the water park, particularly the slides, and there was always something to keep them occupied.
I would like to commend the entertainment team that was there during our stay, particularly Frida, Dr Zulu and two other wonderful young women whose names I sadly cannot remember. They were kind, enthusiastic and fantastic with all. They genuinely made our holiday and are a real credit to the resort.
It was therefore very disappointing to learn shortly before we left that the girls from the entertainment team had departed following serious concerns relating to the company responsible for managing the entertainment programme. They made it clear that these concerns were not connected to Stella Palace itself but to the entertainment team management. As guests, this left us saddened and concerned for their wellbeing. We sincerely hope the issues are investigated and that all entertainment staff working at the resort are properly supported and safeguarded, as it is a real shame for Stella Palace to have lost such talented and dedicated people.
Overall, we had a truly wonderful holiday. The facilities, food and staff made for a memorable family break, and we would happily return to Stella Palace in the future.

Had a wonderful week at stella palace with partner and 2 children ages 16 and 10! Will mention a few negatives before i get into all the lovely positives, on arrival we felt it wasn't a friendly check in, it felt rushed and just left to download an app not explained very well, for a 5 star hotel this check in could of been better, we were told there would be food in our fridge sandwhiches, fruit etc as we arrived late, we thought that was a nice service, But got to the room and nothing was there, called reception and the man on the phone said we would have to pay if we wanted food ordered as it comes from outside the hotel, i explained what the lady said at check in that snacks would already be in our room, he did get this sorted for us, but did make me feel like it was putting him out. I did find all the way through reception staff could of been better in there approach! Smile more and be more friendly. We stayed in an open plan family room which was great for us, plenty of space, clean and comfortable beds, housekeeping did a great job everyday with clean towels and bedding. The food and drinks were faultless lots of choice, staff friendly at pool bars and resturants, shout out to panagiotis around the pool bar always had a smile on his face and hardworking. The pool bar on the pool side could be alot better service though, we had to wait to be served alot as no one was checking if anyone was waiting, had to get attention by waving up to the bar for someone to come down often, we weren't the only people who felt this could be approved as others would say while waiting for a drink, should be someone down there all times to take drink orders as it was busy there. Pools are stunning and the sunbeds so comfortable! The grounds are kept spotless and clean. The entertainment team were fantastic and the shows were great, enjoyed by all ages. The children enjoyed playing darts and my eldest enjoyed water volly, aqua aerobics was good fun. All the entertainment team were friendly and chatty, they did a great job and had a good programme of activities! Dennis was funny and a natural entertainer, carla and all the team keep up the great work, smashing it! The waterpark was brilliant fun. Good stocked shop on site. The last day had a foot and leg masaage at the spa and used the facilities which was great. All in all an amazing week away in the sunshine, in a beautiful setting. Would love to return and have told everyone back home how good stella palace is. π
On arriving at the Hotel at 1am we were greeted with the most pleasant staff and quickly booked in and taken to our room for the week which was spotless modern and more than spacious, On waken up in the morning our room was 3 steps down to the swim up bar pool which was being attended by a fantastic team of cleaners who were there from7am every morning making the area gleaming, Every member of staff had a passion for their job, i never been to an all inclusive like it , Food unbelievable from Breakfast , daytime snack , night time buffet but to top it all the Al a carte restaurants were not for from Michelin standard and thats not an exaggeration, The entertianment team were amazing especially ANDREA who took our 9yr old under her wing , Without doubt the best Hotel we have been to and have booked again for next year, If youve booked to go here you wont be dissapointed at all 10/10 across the board
Very nice place variety of things to enjoy, staff very friendly and kind to assist, very clean areas everywhere and nice facilities -
As a family of 5 we went to the Stella Pallace Aqua Park Resort for 10 days and not one could be considered boring. The amount of entertainment activities was shocking. Apart from a variety of sport through the day in pool or outside of it , there were special programmes specified for kids or me a teenager. Every evening was also always full of surprises fun and excitement. The mini disco program was an activity my siblings were happily looking forward to especially because it was an absolute pleasure to have a Polish speaking entertainer . Mike was welcoming and friendly and his presence was a calming touch for my parents as my siblings donβt speak English very well. He was always eager to help no matter the issue along with a kind smile. Our whole group which consisted of 11 persons went to his aquagym, which we highly recommend.
